What is your opinion of the WI DNR letter put out by Casey Krueger, Chief Warden, in September 2023? Seems to limit drone recovery use to non hunting hours and a spotlight can't be used from 10pm-7am 9/15-12/31. This seems to limit drone use from 20 minutes after sunset to 10pm and then again 7am until 30 minutes before sunrise. Doesn't say anything about the use of IR lighht, but who is going to risk a 6-20k drone on that potential technicality? I was looking to get into the business, even bought a few .coms, but the DNR letter from 9/23 may have put an end to that side hustle before it even got started.
