This should win an award for the most worthless instructional video ever made. Also, if you're considering getting one of these, the instructions are similarly worthless. Hopefully, I can piece together how to operate this from various random RUclips videos posted by others.

That video is not true, I have a raptor, It is a very good scam, but you need use soo much reflective dots to work properly, and even using it loose tracking every second...

What programm is used to modify the scan?

I am having zero success connecting via wifi to the Otter from Scanbridge on iOS and Mac. Just does not detect scanner in the app. However, works perfectly on Windows and Android. Anyone having same issue. Any advice?

How well does the software scale on cpus with many cores? Is it more advantageous to have many cores or fewer faster cores? It would be nice, maybe in a separate video, to see how the system resources are being consumed while scanning this part

It's not all rosy. When using the phone to mirror the screen you lose the histogram that shows you optimum scan distance and you lose feedback about tracking on the phone and the computer. These are very large limitations. If you contact Creality for support GOOD LUCK!. I ask about these mirroring functions and they respond back that application scanning is not supported. No idea what that is supposed to me. I ask questions about the scanner and they respond back wanting to know the serial number of my printer, which shows they don't even know what a Raptor X is. They've never solved one issue for me. They really need to learn some english.

Thought RaptorX had only 7 paralell liser lines! What scanner did you really use for the video? BULLSHIT!!

This was useful for starting out with my RaptorX. Still very finicky. Getting the screen to mirror to the phone is super complicated. The QR code is too small on my computer monitor for my phone camera to pick up. I have to start a scan, start the screen mirroring, take the phone off the scanner, start the windows magnifier tool, move the magnified screen to show the QR code, start the phone camera, lock in on the QR code, *carefully* put the phone back on the scanner (so as to not press any buttons, or tap the screen), exit magnifier on PC, go into full screen on the phone. Phew. The phone and the computer are on the same network, get them to talk to one another Even then, I have a 50/50 chance of the scan actually working. Not sure if I'm taking to long to do that dance or what.

Laptop specs ?

I notice the laser is high and ir is low. Perhaps make tutorial on how to best adjust the ir and laser. Show different objects, sizes and environment with the different settings to use.
