wanna know how to make it not so defender sided? stop nerfing attackers guns. buff the F2 and decrease ADS time for assault rifles all around.

bcz the game naturally is defender sided what’s confusing about that.

This is 5 months later but, Slowing down the ADS speed really just hurt attack since SMGS we’re always faster. Removing 1.5 and 2.0 sights only hurt attack because now defenders can hold longer and smaller angles. With the ADS changes, it just made angle holding even harder. Various prime attacker nerfs because Ubisoft only focuses on nerfing those pesky attacker balancing chart. Nerfing frag cooking. Nerfing attack because they are paranoid if the old lion meta. Fuck Ubisoft.

Attacking is just very hard right now because Ubisoft hasn’t played their game since operation health. Idk about pro play because it is a completely different world but I’ve found that the attacker meta right now is to find one of the roamers with Deimos, kill them with a teammate, then hit site from 2 different angles. My favorite push for club house is to take rafters and get the hard wall open while that happens. Then pinch defenders.

Its always been defender sided most games some maps for sure different but majority of the game has always been defender sided. I remember in burnt horizons we would legit always go into overtime becuase defender sided would win all and there would be 1 slip up in the attacker would win the last round lol

Well atk meta in most games is just Ash, Ace ,Doka(if not banned ofc), Fuze and Buck. They use Thatcher if they are playing on Chalet/Clubhouse or Outback. That's ab it.

Weird to think that nerfing ADS speed a really long time ago (and accelerated by the removal of grenade cooking) set off a chain reaction that lead to the massive mess we have now.

I definitely agree that the best teams will adapt, what really changes with the meta is viewership experience. Watching the Manchester major, I noticed Solis countered most attacker utility leading to attacks with no drones left on the board and attackers bringing more 1 time use utility (flashes, smokes, Ace, Ash). Instead of things that just get spotted by Solis. This leads to attackers leaving a ton of defender utility on the board and just flash/smoke/shield executing, which is usually countered by defender C4s anyway. Definitely not as fun to watch as all the deaths happen within 20 seconds, and you can't tell what's going on because they choose to show you the POV of 1 flashed defender. The viewing experience was largley just being Yinged.

they need too make a og Version of the game with only year 1 Ops and Maps and balance

I know I’m very late but it doesn’t help that nearly all new defenders the last three ish years have been game changers and new attackers have been flores, sens, grim, ram and deimos with the stand out ones being osa (a single impact nade) and brava. While I have a a lot of fun with ram and grim especially they are nowhere near as game changing fenrir or tubarao

I play very rarely and only casual and its completly bonkers there. Many matches end 3-2 and every single round going to the defenders. Overall it is at least 80% winrate for defenders. Maybe if some insane smurf is in the lobby a match ends attacker sided but other than that... very rarely.

To be fair it does make sense that the defending side would get the victory more, though if its only because the defenders are super strong and not because of the strategic value of the defense then its out of weight.

By far the worst change they made was the Nøkk change, so unnecessary, the silent step along with the wiped from cams was insane, but what balanced her was her terrible guns. If the attackers can have literally everything in the game then why can't attack?

i honestly loved the 1.5 but never played siege as a tdm like the meta was. they couldve done something else nerf-wise to change that. instead theyve been not doing what players want, and instead are finding ways around the solution that they think will not have people hate them still. unbelievable.

ubisoft destroying high skill mecanical players. the get for 5 year nerfs XD mecanical also utility whise. on old siege realy the best gunners the just win. back in the day no metter the side settup if you did have the aim skill you was always able to clutch.

Summary: 1: Tuby is overpowered time waster, and if you don't ban him they can use other overpowered ops on def 2: can't cook grenades anymore, cooking was overpowered and now substitutes like capitao don't assure kill only crowd control 3: ace got nerfed, bandit can now block both possible walls

I have this feeling by the end of the roster they put out, people will have the ability to ban two ops per phase, per team (so 8 ops banned total)

the game has been defese sided from a long time. The defenders have soo much free dom and angles to play from. Attacking is soo hard

I've always felt that this game is natually defender sided. At a very basic level, it's far FAR easier to sit in a room where you know your opponents are supposed to go than go to the place you're supposed to go. This continues up the line till (apparently) professional, which kind of vindicates me in my feeling that I prefer defending to attacking. Defense is far FAR more intuitive from base to high level play. There are so many angles and sneaky tricks defenders can set up and pull off that attackers cannot account for all of them.

I mostly just hate Ubi's map design as they made OG Favela, remade it realised that people hate both and somehow thought making maps like nighthaven labs and Lair was a good idea hell Lair has more effort put into the outside of it than the part of the map that we actually play on
