Very true about the presence of oppression.

I was young now I'm old but I've never seen God forsake his people.

It is quite unfortunate for anyone to equate babalola to the biblical elijah. Elijah could literally fly to places and sometimes disappeared and reappeared. He called fire also almost at will. Babalola replicated some of these, but he couldn't call a famine that could englobe the entire planet can he?

Francis of Assisi (16th century) used to preach repentance to wild animals that were notoriously killing people, and they could be seen weeping after which they became gentle and peaceful. He once spoke to noisy birds who were singing loudly during church service and they remained quiet until after service. He used to bleed on his palms, sides, head and feet the same way Jesus did during Lent and Good Fridays. He was also known to appear in two different places at the same. He life was full of prayers and sign and wonders.

There is no magic man in the sky.
