@@lannyyeakle8826 yea I have a couple of the pianos but the rolls are the rare one. This example I fully restored a couple mon ago and replaced all the parts and made it new again, that’s why it plays so darn well! I’ve been looking all over the place for them. (The rolls) An eBay listing had eleven rare ones but it got soled before I could snag them! That’s cool you have many, I’m totally jealous lol!

@@SevenPlus65 I just re- read this comment. Yes she did own it before us. She got it from her neighbor (I think that’s what she said) about 13 years back. She said she had it tuned at least once and then we got it tuned once it was moved to our house. Sorry about not responding right lol I thought you were asking me if I owned it xD

I had typed out a big reply and it looks like it was removed. Piotr, don't you think Luke could play both Ampico and Duo-Art rolls on that 65 note player? The tracker bar wouldn't have all those expression holes. I didn't know if Luke was aware of what an Ampico roll looks like. I think his piano would play them. Your thoughts?

That would depend on if the tracker bar has 80 holes or 88. I think it has 88, the holes outside of the range are tubed down an octave so that you're not just missing notes.

It can, it has the same tracker bar as the standard action player stack. And yes, I love ampico and duo art rolls, it’s been one of those types of rolls I’ve always wanted! Also it’s a 64 note player. FYI

My goodness yes, this piano has sooo much resistance on the pedals, and it’s almost impossible to pedal the other way without getting tired almost immediately 😅. And I checked, nothing is blocking the pedals, it’s just really tough to pump! (And you’re totally right about this roll, so good. :D)

@lukesvintagetrains5495 Yup depends on the placement. If you can get a longer cable for the external mic (if it has a cable) then get one that's like 6 or even 10 feet long and put the mic behind the piano, that'll solve all your problems XD

@lukesvintagetrains5495 Sounds a bit better indeed, sound is still kinda flat from the camera itself though, what are you using for recording? If it's an iPhone then that explains the audio quality.

@ it’s an iPad, but I have an external microphone. (It’s a piece of sh!t though) that’s why it sounds so bad.

@lukesvintagetrains5495 Try using the built in one and get it closer to the piano, or even better open up the piano (take the front panel off, leave the lid on) that should help quite a bit.

@ yea, at this carousel the only way they will run it is if you ask a staff member. This is due to the small size of the carousel house and it is very loud.
