I like games similar to this. As someone who has never dealt with anything so bad, it allows me to understand how trauma really feels. I just never realise how gradual the overcoming is. Tbh, I never knew about a "white space" or a "white door" & "black door", but the game keeps you there to get the full message. Normally, jump scares would deter the wimpy me; but imo by how sparce they seem and how oddly predictable they are (You could just assume); lil' scaredy-cat me can actually enjoy it. The only mental issues I've endured in fact was from jump scares so that's nice! I just wish there was a game like this but for something littler, like a RUclips comment gone wrong. Unprofessional critic score 100/100

Once Blood Drive hit i was like ok, Corpse Party, I love and respect what you're trying to do but NO, Blood Drive introduced too much at the last minute in terms of the game We had the branch witch society The religious society against the witch society A unborn twin whos the real evil invading the school An aunt we've never heard of Ayumi and Sachiko are cousins but Ayumi isnt as powerful as Sachiko or her own older sister who everyone and their mother blames Ayumi for that death Then we have Aioko, Radio girl and their love of Naho who started this whole mess. Then ayumi tries to eat Heavenly host trying to seal it inside her the way Sachiko did after sachiko and their mom tried to use black magic to revive the dad because men dont live long after marrying into the shinozaki family because of some witch curse Haunted school We started with a haunted school and ended up with a magical pillar of death, ethereal witch battles, unborn fetus envy, And then Dead patient adds nothing but more of the "wait...what?!" Vibe that goes unanswered for the rest of time

The smile of relief knowing Sunny and Basil will no longer be haunted by guilt is what makes this ending beautiful for me. They’re finally at peace.

I’m watching this because I refuse to actually play the game, I dislike games of this variety. Edit: towards the end of this I nearly had a mental breakdown

The best parallel in the game is Aubrey pushing Basil away from her and accidentally pushing him into the lake, where he almost drowned. Just like Sunny accidentally pushed Mari down the stairs while trying to push her a way during an argument, where she unfortunately died.
