LQ4 LQ9 6.0 220/220 TSP Cam
2001 GMC Sierra with a 05 LQ4 swap.
Engine has:
-Texas Speed and Performance cam (220/220 .600 112lsa lift truck cam)
-beehive springs
-tsp pushrods
-high volume oil pump
- single inlet/ duel outlet flow master (not sure what series but I could find out if you ask)
-stock headers and Y pipe.
- definitely recommend a wideband
- Tbss/nnbs intake (coming soon)
If you have any questions please feel free to comment and I’ll answer any cam or LS performance related questions you have! Thanks and enjoy the chop monster!

Sounds great- where's the smoke!
Such a shit box I love it lol
What driveshaft are you using?
Sounds good Danny. All it needs now are some bigger rims and tires, a paint job and me.
😂
You want him to ruin the truck? These are the exact wheels you want on this truck
Now you gotta build around so you can do burnouts😂😂
We all wanted a burnout 😂
Where can I get my truck swapped bro ?
Sounds clean mine is a 6.0 to hard not to burn out everytime I drive it 😂😂
sounds nasty love it!!!
What cam is in it??
I Wondered that too.
Sounds like a stage 3 or 2 btr cam imo
What cam is it, did you need a stall?
Now u did the engine need a paint job
That's Golden, you should drive it like it's stolen
No burnout?
What is the name of the rims ?
Corre bien la Trokita
Yes officer it's stock
“Regular old sbc 350 officer 🤠”

👆
@@dannym5106 got any tips?
The way your just waiting for him to do a Burnout 🤣👌
😂😂😂😂😂👍🏼
Next video?
The good old days :)
How much horsepower
Hows the torque with the 6.0? Stock converter?
Stock converter with that cam?
Is this a 1500?
Yes
You do any pulling. Looking at 6.0 with same cam for my 1500.
Old 5.3 getting tired with 218k. Thought about stock 6.0 but can get good deal on cammed lq4 with low miles looking for more low end for towing.
@@landencraig3440 I haven’t tried towing with it yet but it is extremely powerful. Only thing I’ve towed so far is my bass boat and it towed it like it was nobody’s business. It’s an extremely easy swap but you do need a tune for the cam.
All I pull is 20ft car trailer 2/3 four wheelers 3500-4000 pounds so this will probably be idea. As far as gas mileage and drivability it doesn’t hurt it much?
How’s the drive ability? Currently building an Lq4 for my truck since I blew my motor a month ago and going to keep the bottom end stock and heads stock but looking at this cam...also how much low end torque did you loose? I take my truck up to Wyoming from Texas about once a year and have to drive through a mountain pass and up and down hills
If you’re going from a 5.3/4.8 to a 6.0 of any kind there are going to be a couple of major changes. The first one I had trouble with was my exhaust since I had a cat less Y pipe and just a single inlet/ dual outlet flow master. The 6.0 is much much louder but if you have a stock or relatively stock exhaust you should be fine. Another thing is the tune and how you tune your truck. You have to tune your truck if you want to make any power off the cam and you also have to get valve springs. You can keep the stock stall with this cam but you can’t get away with stock springs and tune. Besides that it runs amazing. It’s super choppy at idle in park and neutral but you can’t tell while you’re in drive and on the street. It gives it a super super nice tone while driving compared to stock and would recommend it 100%. I didn’t really have anything to go off of based on torque since I went from a 4.8 to a cammed 6.0 but the torque is amazing. This cam should only give you gains in hp and torque, I’ve seen multiple stage 2 cams like this one that only provide gains all through out the dyno graph.
