Most settings should give you cumulonimbus after a period of time, you can use default, you can also use the tools

I made it using water weight 0 and water vapour tool, then I used wind setting to move it into the island

Usually I do the following I make vorticity max (vorticity basically makes the air form the spinny things you can see in the sim) I usually put the water temp at 28-30 degrees Celsius (water temp is self explanatory) I usually max out land evaporation and make water evaporation slightly higher (these are also self explanatory) Make sun intensity max (how strong solar heating is) I occasionally put the wind setting at 0.5, this helps make storms move and can help them start up under the right conditions

Tornado producing supercells can’t form in the sim though due to it being 2d, which means the storms can’t rotate meaning that supercells can’t form, however you can get something very similar to tornadoes if your humidity is high enough, high humidity may make a small protrusion descend into the ground and create a tornado like cloud

The title of the game is given in the title of the video: 2D Weather Sandbox.

It was caused by severe convergence in a humid environment, which can be achieved with any settings but is quicker with slightly higher evaporation heat (2-2.5) I usually use 2.2 And higher land/sea evaporation settings

There are 3 main things I need to get my best cells, Instability, humidity and convergence. These can be achieved with most settings

I assume you mean Lightning, I used a software called vscode to get that much bolts, if you already have it, then install the live server extension then clone github.com/niels747/2D-Weather-Sandbox into it, after that shaders>vertex>precipitation shader vert>line 127, I have it set to a 100, but if you really want extremely crazy lightning set it higher
