Aaaaagh - it hurts to know how good these guys could be - I've been a drummer in bands since the 90's and there's always been something missing - these guys have everything I've ever wanted in a band - just get it together!!!
To want a band to just get back together and fulfill their destiny. To want more of what only they have musically. I love this band and at the same time want to smack certain members - squandered and wasted gifts not retrievable in the same way as years pass by. shit
This band is one of the most beautiful things that has ever blessed this world. That first album they did together will live on forever.
I like how travis had to make his own little special entrance. Couldn't be out there with the rest of the band. What an egotistical flamer.

I disagree. Travis is the frontman and the spotlight will always shine a little brighter. Plus it got me fucking pumped. It reminded me of when Alice in Chains did the same thing for Nutshell unplugged. The crowd roared for Travis just like when Layne stepped out

Thanks a bunch for sharing these. I hate that I never got to see them. Travis may have been the visionary but Todd Jesse and Matt brought out that chemistry in a way that made Days of the New a platinum band and one of the best to come out of the Grunge/Post Grunge era. Listen to Matt on the beginning of Enemy or Todd's spacey harmonies at the start. Unreal. Check out Blisskrieg when it comes out.
Hope Travis gets better. It's sad they couldn't keep the band together.

@@Pingaheimer Me too man. I am 6 years off cocaine and my first couple years the yellow and green albums were a daily listen. I wish Travis the best and think of him often and how his music spoke to me. Peace brother

the audio is far from great. I dont know what happened to the lead singer as i havent followed the group..heard he had an addiction and reading some comments? People are assholes. I lost my oldest nephew to heroin a year ago..what a family goes thru..the kids he left behind..you do what you can to help a person but it's them that has to want it..sometimes it isnt enough...support..do what you can to get the person off the shit..we all have demons..personally? i'd ;like to shoot every drug dealer in the head..not talking about pot...the heroin?, Meth, Crack..whatever..that crap needs to go..the dealer needs to go..anyone who turns someone on to that crap? has to go...i did my share of partying in the 70's and 80's..seen friends waste their lives and die to addictions..you do what you can..trashing a person for their disease is just fucking wrong..somewhere down the line ? someone got the person fucked up

My favourite is Travis Meeks Bootleg Live... By far my best. Just him ,Guitar , and Microphone. Sometimes we have to hit rock bottom, And Sometimes Jail ,To find ourselves. I've battled the same drug. Either the drug takes you off planet earth or You Fight For ur life and kick it. I kicked it.. I know Travis Can, He has big Support from his family. Support is key to success Love ya Travis. Been ur fan since 1996--forever

Finding yourself in jail wouldn't be fun, but at that point it's a gift. Meeks is an underrated genius, IMO; it's just a shame that such a familiar story accompanies his brilliance.

Todd's my favorite member of this group and Tantric. He is such a good guitar player. Maybe now the original Tantric can get back together. Hugo needs them BAD! I never thought the original DOTN would get back together and they did, not for long, but still they did. So maybe Tantric can, so I can love the band again.
Tantric is good but not as original and instrumental as this band
2x8 Days Of The New is good. I have the first album and like the song Enemy, but I prefer Tantric more. I love there first album, second one was good, not as good as the first but still good. Both bands are good in there own ways:)
Enemy is from the second Album Green, Tantric was o.k., i did enjoy their music, but it;s not timeless like Days.
Meh Travis wrote all of days of the news music. And Todd wasn’t even part of the album these two songs came off of.
MustObeyTheRules Todd Wrote The Real and Last One on the Green album. They also played Enemy and Flight at the end of the Orange tour in ‘98. I promise you, Todd, Jesse and Matt had a lot more to do with Green than fans realize..

Sadly, we must inform you that the reunion tour is over. Travis will continue to do shows under the DOTN name, but the rest of the original members will not be with him. We would ask you not to waste time pointing fingers and making accusations. On the contrary, we would ask fans of the band to continue to support all 4 members of the group in their future projects. This page was created to promote the reunion tour, but now that the tour is over we have decided that instead of taking the page down, we will leave it up and use it occasionally to update DOTN fans about what we are up to. damn, gotta good look into that meth mouth. sad...wish he could pull himself together, always loved his work. I'll still hope for the best, but it doesn't sound like the original line up of this band is gonna stick around. I know addiction, I know depression, I wish I could help him. He still has more to offer the world.
