So happy Denny made his transition pretty easy. He was young compared to the young soon to be silverbacks in Japan that are still with their families. Wish they were able to form a bachelor group in Japan. They did not think this through for these poor guys. They deserve the chances that the American and abroad do.

MTW, a couple of questions… Are the brothers outside on display at the same time every day? If yes, do you happen to know the timeframes? Do Paul Donn and Jessica still come outside? Haven’t seen them in a while. Thanks for the video! 😊
@@luvcats120 the bachelor brothers are out in the morning until about 12:45 then they go inside. About 1pm Jessica and Paul Donn come outside. Sometimes they change things up and Jessica and Paul Donn will be out in the morning but that doesn’t happen too often.
Lols like the little one got the poop scared out of him right off the bat.
Why aren't there in a zoo with there own troops, especially Denny in there with three silverbacks
These are 4 brothers and they all get along really well. Mandazzi the alpha is supposed to get moved to Kansas City zoo where he will have his own family troop. 🩷
Wow, they are all such fine specimens of Western Lowland Gorillas. Are they going to add Frank and Monroe or add them to Frank and Monroe’s nice big facility? I would just love to get a video of those two . It has been a long time ❤️❤️❤️🦍🦍🦍….
@@KathyJo. Last I heard Frank and Monroe are going to stay up at San Diego Zoo Safari Park and that 3 Gorillas are going to be added in with Frank and Monroe from The Bronx Zoo. So Frank and Monroe are getting 3 new friends.

Just curious - do they fight even if there r no females for territory?
@@losalo22 They mostly get along with each other. But they have their moments where they scuffle with each other. But usually it’s over quickly. Denny is only 9 so he sometimes stirs things up with his brothers. But they mostly get along really good! 🩷
Sometimes but the fights are never serious Males coexist just fine without females around The fights involving females could be deadly as they are fighting for mating privileges but without females around they are generally calm It helps that Mandazzi is a pretty peaceful alpha, if Ekuba was running things Denny wouldn't get away with tossing dirt all the time

@@theresam.1899 Maka, Mandazzi, and Ekuba share the same mother and father. And then Denny has a different dad but the same mother. So, all 4 brothers have the same mom. All 4 brothers were born at the San Diego Zoo. 🦍🦍🦍🦍🩷
I hope one day all of the males can experience having females and babies. I guess their habitat has been taken over by farming and humans, war,. They are also eaten as bush meat I think.
