do you have to pay the same fee every year ?
No just renewal fees...like renewing your car registration
Any link for a battery option i can put on a minibike its only pull start tho 😢
I'm gonna check them out u think it will work if not the mini mabey a 125cc venom thunder dirtbike with headlight
I'm trying to achieve this with my mini 212 as we speak good vid man smashing 🎉
Sounds pretty easy. Thanks for the video! I was wondering about insurance tho. I live in hawaii so would I have to pay insurance in-state on the dirt bike since it is street legal? Or since Montana doesn’t require insurance does the bike not need insurance either ?
why not just have a enhanced inspection ? rather than all the outta state work ? seems like way to much effort .... once you get the enhanced inspection approve off the the notary ,,,, that easy
You sure about that?
@@DirtbikeJourneyscould you elobarate im genuinely interested ❤
Try that in California lol
What state is that??? Beautiful riding👍
Potter county, Pennsylvania. Thanks!
Hey there, just recently did this install and i was wondering where you got those adapters for the brake light?
What tank bag is that?
Tusk Olympic
@@DirtbikeJourneys thanks. I have been looking for a bag for my bike
@@ironthumb3048 you got it!
Why would the headlight need power if the switch is the regulator of the power and has power going to it?
So the headlight is getting ground from the switch
Nice vid sir. Does the Vapor includes the bracket or you'll have to buy it separately? Thanks
Thanks for the review, looking forward on something similar here in PH 🤟
Sure thing!
Could I possibly attach a 12volt USB charger straight to the charging coils of the engine so I can charge a phone while the engine is on.... I'm asking because I would like to make my own light way battery using 18650 batteries and figured I can use a charging chip meant for 18650 and using a 5 volt phone charger. And I was wondering if I can just wire a phone charger to the charging coils of the engine and then the home made battery to the charger (permanently) It's probably something that I just have to give it a try
should have explained what an LLC is. Usually, a bike needs a VIN. and the MCO must say EPA and DOT approved.
Bro like 3 mins into the video your not on there available riden property, your 100% in active work areas where they don’t want you to be, if you access there maps you can see what is off limits and what isn’t. The stuff that is open is still great riden Not much is closed off Just be careful. Don’t want us members getting introuble. There trying to add camping for members and other cool perks. And we need to fallow the rules Happy trails brotha
Really?! I was just following the trails. Didn’t see any signage saying off limits. I will take a closer look at the map.
@@DirtbikeJourneys and fro isn’t the best at marking where they’re property. 3 years ago hardly any signs anywhere. Gettin better with trail markers. But. Not when there property ends and stuff
@@DirtbikeJourneys OnXoff road app is the best and FRO has there trails and areas on that app
Hello, what size is the tank bag small or large one?
Large
Thinking about doing the same with a new wr250f. What do you ride?
crf250f
@@DirtbikeJourneys thanks. Going to purchase a Yz250fx and make it street legal this weekend!
Awesome post up some videos when you do!
Please don't forget to 10amp fuse red wire from battery.
Instructions call for a 1 amp fuse, not 10 amp.
My vapor keeps resetting itself is it because of the battery in the product is date out ? And can you use any normal copper wire to wrap around the spark plug where i live it’s hard to get by the spare part’s
The Rocky Mountain control switch video was very helpful. Idk about that headlight, but those beams may pull too much power for those wires… at least according to the Rocky Mountain video. I ended up running a new power wire directly from the battery with an inline fuse in a thicker gauge wire to the black, then the blue and white go to the high and low beam. The headlight got a ground directly to a grounding spot in the bike. Hope that’s helpful.
Oh that’s interesting. The headlight seems to be working fine for now.
The black an white is the neutral the red to black is your power going to switch when switch is flipped to low or high beam sends power too blue wire too lite an back thru the white an black to complete circuit
12:35 is what I came for.. Would be helpful if Tusk pointed out in their diagram that their harness assumes headlight power already exists. I plan on pulling power from the brake light power wire
Ya I agree! Thanks
nice man, i got a Schumacher one for my KLX 140L , i slapped a light bar on it and stuff recently. but mostly got it too Keep my battery Trickle charged during the winter months.
Nice!
That’s funny I came here because my 140rf went dead lol thanks great video
Does it work in bc?
What’s bc?
@@DirtbikeJourneysvancover British Columbia, in Canada
Really nice video… in process of similar project on a different bike… key to the headlight conundrum is having the wiring pinout for the controller switch you are using…. U need 12 volt into the control switch and then the high and low wires are the 12 volt outputs to the headlight… then connect headlight return to a ground…
Thanks for the info!
Glad I saw your comment, helpful! I wish YOU would do a video on this! I'm sure you know the "rubber wrapping" on the wires is called insulation...😉😀
Hi, liked your content all the way from Kenya. Am looking for a good working, 2nd hansapor or Voyager unit. Any leads?
Thanks for tuning in. Sorry no leads.
It would be worth it, especially to save money on gas to have a off road capable that's also street legal.
Ya it’s worth it
Hello, y stall one of those, but the speed is wrong Do you know what size did u configure the weel I have the same bike
Front tire is 21 inches
@@DirtbikeJourneys The rim is 21 inches. The tire is bigger than that.
@@jasonb6570 21 inches is what the front wheel is and 21 inches is the number you need to input on the vapor.
@@DirtbikeJourneys You need to input the circumference of the front tire itself (at least that is what I have to do on my Trail Tech Endurance II meter). You can do that by marking the ground for some reference point on the tire like the valve stem. Then roll the bike straight from that marked ground point until the valve stem makes one full rotation. Mark the ground there and then measure the distance between the 2 marked ground points.
😂😂😂😂
Did you end up installing the temperature sensor? I see you have a air cooled engine
I did not yet. Do you think it’s important?
@@DirtbikeJourneys yes a had it on my 450x and bike would over heat every once in a while so good thing to have.
@@johnsesk01 Ok I havent had any over heating issues but thats good to know.
Sublime
Thank you!
Nice!
Thanks
I did the exact same thing on my 2002 xr650r tusk kit with the Baja light !!! Great work I wish I would have watched this before so save myself some struggle 😂 🤙🏼
Ya it’s a nice setup! I appreciate the comment.
@@DirtbikeJourneys bike was stolen one month after this comment ! cops just recovered the bike last week ! he cut up my entire wiring !
Nice!
Thanks!
Great video.
Thanks Jeff!
There's a o ring on that oil filter cover that I replaced. My Honda dealer gave me all the ingredients for my oil change and told me make sure to change the o ring. Always a good idea.
Good deal! Thank you
Just got mine for my WR250R. Going to install it this morning. Your thoughts on the vent hose from the tank. I have the same situation. Thx!
so I actually ran the hose through the front strap on the bag and then back up into the hole on the handlebars. The bag does slightly rest on the hose but doesn’t pinch it.
@@DirtbikeJourneys Yup! No issues and even though it sits back a bit further back onto the seat it doesn't get in the way and just slightly pushes against the hose
@@rolandwheeler4842 awesome!
@@DirtbikeJourneys and thank you for the video!
Can you help me out, how did you get to the coal/loose rocks at 3:18? Im going out tomorrow and would love to have your help
Go to Dark Water. Head down and to the left. Haha sorry I’ve only been there once and stumbled upon it, so I don’t know specifics. But follow trails on the left side of parking down and you should find it.
@@DirtbikeJourneys did you park at the lower parking lot or upper?
@@dirtymotovation didn’t know there was two lol. The main lot with the office and big tires entrance.
Don’t go into that area its off limits there is plenty of areas that is not off limits The spot he is in. Can you see any other off road tracks? There’s work equipment sitting everywhere. Kinda pisses me Off this dude don’t realize Hopefully he did after he made this vid
Looks fun
