@@hiiexist479 Leather cover and a pencil holder.
This is a wonderful chart which was one of George's favorite pieces that allowed his to play rebato and put a lot of feeling into it, real nice playing, I would have played this a Tad slower than written. Thanks for posting this.
@@ConnArtist70H thanks for stopping by!
Sounds good man, keep it up
Sounds like the 3d pinball space cadet theme 1. Nice job! 😂😂

I just bought my first Conn. It's a 1970s Conn 83H Bass Trombone with an Elkhart Indiana Bell swap!
Sound of music has to be one of my favorite musicals I’ve played. I played the second trombone part and it is one of the most fun second trombone parts I’ve ever played.
Yep
Hey brother this is actually cumbia not salsa!
@@jacobygears2843 Correct this is Cumbia
This mouthpiece is a "C" mouthpiece or a "V" mouthpiece?
The reverberation is so good 😮
I didn’t get to play this in school as admin blocked it, but I wish I did. I loved that Doppler effect
Nice❤
Hey bro check out me Teddy Russell playing Stevie Wonder's "Part Time Lover" cover on the flugabone. Please click like, share and subscribe. Cool thanks!

Walking bass lines yay! Makes any song instantly better
woah that mute tone omfg I wish I could do that😭
oh. my. god. I need more of this
Time to go in a rabbit hole!
Great job
Nice
tbh I think Yamaha and bach should swithc places because of yamahas consistency and lack of bad horns and bach has such a lack of consistency. I think a lot of yamahas have just various problems because they get abused by students and schools and they never really break but just develop small issues from constant abuse. I know yamaha tends to use thicker yellow brass on their horns for increased durability so that may have to do with them being sounding brighter, but i dont have that issue with their high end Xeno line. something to note about the Xeno line is that from behind the bell, it can sound a bit soft, less full, and maybe even kind of dull and uninteresting, but it sounds so much better from in front of the bell. I know bach's have absolutely stunning horns but it's a real hit or miss when you buy new something interesting to note about Olds is that back before the 60s id say their entire lineup is all S tier, but once they got to the 60s and 70s, their line really started to decline and just not have good builds. Holton i have mixed feelings about being in A tier. I think their quality has definitely declined a lot over the last 10-15 years based on exampled I have played. Conn is an interesting one. Elkhart era conn's are monsters. and they command collector values. the 70s is when they moved to Abilene and we start seeing questionable build quality and get complaints. don't confuse the elkhart marking on the bells for overall construction quality. i know some elkhard bells were already made before the move and later got assembled at abilene. besson is an intersting one because their euphoniums are considered god tier but their trombones just never made the cut. I agree with your observation on King's the legendary horns are always monsters but the misses are just constant foul balls. occasionally a really good example will still appear tho. your comments about Thein are interesting. I have heard everything about Thein from "playing weird" to fantastic. I think it has to do with a lot of their builds originating in traditional german building origins. and those tend to have more resistance in the f attachment and bass horns. so sometimes they come across maybe stuffy and having an intonation people arent directly used to. But people that are used to that stuff or looking for those things or thos things just work for them, find theins to be absolutely incredible. I haven't found anyone to actually comment negatively on the sound and build quality tho...just the playability and how they feel playing it. Right now, I own a 2012 Yamaha 882GO, late 90's Back 42BOR (R is the Sterling Silver Plus bell), 40s/50s elkhart conn 4H, and 1930 Olds Military Model. And have played a number of horns I actually enjoy playing different horns and materials and bells so I tend to randomly go on hunts to play new things and just feel them out. the collection slowly grows
Thank you for the input!
This is a beautiful solo, I would be very interested in taking this piece to my state’s solo and ensemble contest. I’ve been looking a piece that would match my style of playing and this would work perfect
I just finished playing my 4th run of this show. It’s a fun trombone part. I hope to play it again soon
It’s a good one!!
