Operation Euphrates Shield (Turkish: Fırat Kalkanı Harekâtı) was a cross-border military operation conducted by the Turkish Armed Forces in the Syrian Civil War which led to the Turkish control in Northern Syria. Operations were carried out in the region between the Euphrates river to the east and the rebel-held area around Aza to the west. The Turkish military and Turkey-aligned Syrian rebel groups, some of which used the FSA label, fought against the forces of the ISIS as well as against the SDF from 24 August 2016. On 29 March 2017, the Turkish military officially announced that Operation Euphrates Shield was "successfully completed".

This type of content's thing is to put a static photo of the event with a Wojak drawing in front. The clip at the first normally wasn't going to be there, but I wanted to add it as a reference to the famous hadith marking the Conquest centuries in advance. The poster is pretty much intentional.
