what were you delivering?
This sweetheart does a frustrated laser pointer bark almost exactly like my late border heeler, passed in June. This brings back many happy memories. Thx
It looks like AI controlled or something. May be just a mechanical device. Actually it's not a good idea if you consider the dog's mental health but seems effective against complete destroy of the house.
It’s not AI controlled, it’s just a simple cat toy off of Amazon with a set rotation sequence. I also have a standard laser pointer that I use on the road. As for his mental health, he loves it. He just got frustrated because it doesn’t act like the other pointer he’s used to. After a couple of days with it, he settled into being able to track it just fine.
@@amillionmileride I won't try to convince you, but I would still recommend reading about the possible consequences of dogs getting used to playing with a laser pointer. *They're not tErRiBlE, and not 100% inevitable but it would be better to know about.
When I use the Port on US 85 at Cheyenne, and I want to go south on US 85, I use the same driveway I came in on to leave. It could probably be signed better. Also, you were in Northeast Colorado, and Ag is going great guns. The farmers that also have mineral rights can't figure out how to spend all their money. Source, my dad is one of them.
I figured out what I should have done at the port when I drove by the second time, I don’t run that route regularly. As for Ag, my only reference is what it was around Greeley 25 years ago when I grew up in the area. And from that reference, the Front Range has changed quite a bit.
You drove through my back yard. Oil has not destroyed agriculture in our area.
Compared to what it was 25 years ago when I grew up in the area, my only reference, its changed quite a bit.
I found out the next morning that not only did he not set his brakes, he left the truck in gear and running when he ran inside to get coffee. It free rolled into this position.
I'm guessing you're a Shaffer driver, you're kinda being a Karen, but you're definitely right about that mess that was going on in Indy,is that that co pilot thing we've gone to that you're using, I've never used it,I'm not really that tech guy, I haven't gotten with all the electronics that's been incorporated ,just don't have the give a dam to learn it,although I probably could, stay safe out there.
I do drive for Shaffer, and yes, that is CoPilot in the background. I don’t run it for the GPS, the workflow runs it automatically. As for me coming across as a Karen, that was not my intent, where did you see that so I can remove it from future content? I will also admit this is older content that I uploaded several months ago and scheduled to post recently. I’ve since changed a lot of my narrative style.
@amillionmileride I tried it once, didn't understand it,I just go to accept preplan macro, and do it that way, I've heard it isn't all it was cracked up to be anyway, how do you like it? ,was just messing with you on the Karen statement,,cause you went very indepth concerning the drivers seal, and when you thought the other driver was getting into a restricted lane, all in fun,lol...stay safe, I'm on the Crete side.
I’ve put that GPS through its paces. To be fair, it isn’t all that bad, it’s about as reliable as any Garmin or Rand McNally. Personally, I do all of my trip planning on an atlas, my Rand McNally (the louder of the two) is primarily running to keep an eye on radar, the PeopleNet comes in handy because it has active traffic that will alert to a slowdown up to 10 miles out. In many cases, if an accident closes the route you’re on, it pretty reliably reroutes to the designated truck detour. You’ll never hear me say that a GPS is infallible. Garmin, Rand McNally, and the PeopleNet have put me in some pickles, but, overall, point to point, it’s reliable enough to get you to the front gate of about 98% of our customers. Personally, I follow signs more than I do any GPS unit.
Rated 💯 most boring video of the day ! Even more boring than a Yoga video !
A duly noted fair point of constructive criticism. I won’t deny that I can be boring in my narrative, and this has been a focal point I’ve been trying to improve. Where can I improve, in your opinion, to make content such as this, less boring?
When I'm parked my high beams activate along with my air horn all night 😅
lol, a succinct way to become the most popular person in the lot
Always glad when you come back home in one piece love
Just like you said, if DOT allows an emergency allowance to get to a safe place within a certain amount of distance, that's perfect. Plus if you can haul her to a Love's that'll save on the pocket book to bring it to their front door rather than charge for road side assistance. Win, win if there ever such a thing in that situation. Just wanted to add your doggo is cute as a button. I'm sure they keep you company OTR when it gets lonely. Pets always help.
FMCSA regulation 396.7, subpart b “396.7 Unsafe operations forbidden. (a) General. A motor vehicle shall not be operated in such a condition as to likely cause an accident or a breakdown of the vehicle. (b) Exemption. Any motor vehicle discovered to be in an unsafe condition while being operated on the highway may be continued in operation only to the nearest place where repairs can safely be effected. Such operation shall be conducted only if it is less hazardous to the public than to permit the vehicle to remain on the highway.” Hershey is an awesome companion, he’s my second road dog. Honestly, id go crazy without the companionship. He also gives a solid motivation to exercise regularly, thus I’m walking an average of 7 miles a day, most of it with him.
Hola amigo .hi brother bendiciones blessings.
*sigh* some drivers don't understand ramming speed is not needed when backing. 😅😂
As I’ve said in some of my videos, bump the dock, not Wrath of Khan ramming speed lol.
That damage at the back sure looks like someone tried taking off while a dock lock was still engaged.
That would pull the ICC bar to the rear, the damage is in the wrong direction. However, a light pole pylon or a dock could definitely do this, as would a rear end incident in traffic. If it is from pulling on a dock lock, they pulled hard. It would make me wonder what the dock lock looks like…
Seems like they would have noticed that coffee cup flying out of the cup holder, but I guessing "Mr Not Me or Someone else" was driving. Old maintenance department head always said they need to fix the driveway, keeps bending body parts when the trucks come home! LOL
Well, at least you stated the obvious 🤷♂️
Not going to show the trailer number, proceeds to show it anyway😂😂😂
I did not intend to show the trailer number, I meant only to show the bend in the door.
Something to watch for when setting wheelbase length. Unless things have changed since my Rand McNally atlas was printed, California length limit is 40 feet from king pin to last AXLE, not the center of the axle GROUP!!! Several other states the spec is also to the last AXLE. I found out the hard way at a weigh station inspection on I-5 coming out of Oregon. Female inspector said what saved me was measuring & marking 40 foot spot on trailer body. She said it looked like I tried to comply, made small error, said she would hold the pin for me, shorten it up a foot & have a safe trip.
Sorry, forgot to add, especially on steering axle, weight limit is marked on tire by the manufacturer & not to exceed 600 pounds per inch of tread width.
Good morning, I do believe I noted in the video a that measurements were to the rear axle hub. Most often DOT is pretty lenient with drivers if they see a legitimate effort has been made. However, if you slide to legal bridge law and you’re overweight, it’s going to be a long day. I’ve had one overweight ticket in California about 8 years ago, never again.
Good luck
Nice work. Saved a life. God Bless You and your travels.
U get what u pay 4! That's what inexperience looks like!
I’ll give him this, he didn’t hit anything. And while I can’t speak to his lack of experience, common sense goes a long way.
Wow, just wow lol 😂
That row loops, he could have easily pulled out to the left, and at the end of the row gone left to loop behind me, or one right and looped around the building. Instead, well, while I give props for not hitting anything, made things harder than necessary…
Boring...let someone else narrate
I will fully admit narrative is one of my struggles, but, that’s part of why I do these videos so I can improve. Therefore, let me ask, what do you see that I can improve?
Sky raisins!
That’s what he thinks, though…not as tasty I’d assume.
My dog does that and I still say no
He didn’t get any. Bread is terrible for them, and garlic is poisonous. But he’ll try.
i swear he is just a cat in a Pitbull's body lol. bloody goofball
No less so than his predecessor
yea but at least seph was a husky so it kinda made sense (i know i spelt the first part of her name wrong bro you can kill me later lol)@@amillionmileride
@@mistwolfgaming9515 Persephone. Greek goddess, forced wife of Hades. I didn’t name her, but, it fit.
@@amillionmileride I remember her full name of course but I always called her by her nickname like you ya know I can't spell for shit lol
So Hersh strikes again Ey bro? Big goofball is just terrorizing your poor truck.
It’s the tail. Always the tail…
So pitiful! Feed that poor starving baby!❤
Wtf? The dog looks healthy to me 😑
@@uarepeoplequestionmark oh for Christ’s sake it’s a joke .. get a sense of humour
@@lillyvonshtup7314 ahhhh sorry 😆
Time to fix the power steering. He's gotten a terrible sqeal on his head turns lol
Fan belt…it’s gotta be that fan belt…
Oh poor Hersey.😢
These arguments are pretty regular with Hershey. He thinks he has the puppy eyes pegged.
Too cute
👍🤘
Thank you my love. I know you try to be here for my birthday. I love you so much and am so glad I have you as my other half ❤
Happy birthday!!
Awesome video man. Keep on trucking!
Thank you
