I use a fork and pop the shafts out, you can do it with a lever bar! You need to pop them out and pull shaft at the same time!

Yer of course, you can do it with 2 small drill bits and a bar to turn it!

Ah it wasn't made in china, I'm sure it was Turkey or some thing like that? the New INA one was again to china -I tend to avoid the cheaper stuff!

I followed the job by the book and it said to put engine to TDC, as the pump is running off the cam, I can only assume it needs to be TDC for the correct timing of pump to the engine! however. can't see why it could cause any issues if it wasn't TDC!

@@torqueautomotivebedford No, the easy out extractor is still stuck on there inside of the spark plug. Been trying it for past 24 hour straight trying to get it off, Went to bed and just woke up at 5am, about to try again. The easy out screw extractor is square shape on top and every 6 & 12 point socket I have tried, is not working. All of them keep slipping. Had to walk back and forth to hardware store 4 times yesterday trying different socket sizes. Nothing is working for me. Can’t get it to budge at all since I first started. Thinking about using a torch or something.. as a last resort, might have to have it towed to a mechanic to be fixed. I need my car working by the end of today. The very last spark plug broke on me and just the screw part of the plug is stuck in there. This is on a 2015 Chevy equinox LS.

Honesty I don’t know, I would do the compression on all cylinders and see what you’re getting. General rule is 10% between cylinders is acceptable! I would need more info to find out what factory compression should be bud

@@torqueautomotivebedford The engine hasn’t got any visible leaks and there’s absolutely no smoke at all from the exhaust 🤷‍♂️ Just glad it’s not my car, i’ll just keep putting oil in it every week 😂 I may do a vid on my channel, just because the C3 vids are popular. Yer it was a couple of months ago! But still no harm in double checking work!! As for the main dealer stuff, I had a car arrive for pdi with no steering wheel - just a pair of grips 😂

It’s normally rubber but some are made from a plastic!! All depends on who was the original supplier of the part!

Found a warped door seal near the wing mirror - I did a video on it but it corrupted so I couldn’t show it!! It was rain water that got in, a new seal is on route also!

Hi, so the white lines on the belt line up with the timing marks on the engine. You are meant to put each line on a timing mark! However it doesn’t matter if you don’t, just what they are there for!

@@torqueautomotivebedford this poor car has been neglected for far too long as it's just a work car now, it hasn't been washed in 6 months, but it's due some TLC 😹 It should go into a garage to fix everything in one go, then a body shop, it's been to much of a money pit doing bits here and there!
