Interesting list. I can agree that Rio's opening is the best of the current OBS era followed by Tokyo and London But my personal favorites are Sydney and Barcelona, which integrated better sports and city identity IMHO.

ABS - CBN Station ID (2014 - 2020) Visuals : Over a cloudy background we see some dots drawing an outline. After it finishes, the outline colours itself and rises up, leaving dome of the dots that drew the rectangle. Suddenly, a series of square make a roof and explode into millions of pieces. We go up and go inside the roof snd see a bright light surrounded by red, green and blue squares. We then see a huge ball in the back of the surrounding cubes with the light shining even more. The n we see some red, green and blue rays scale in while a transparent ring draws itself eith some rectangles inside it and toiching the top of the invisible ring. Then when it is done, the cubes go to their spaces inside the rings and gains its color. Then it shoots out waves and turns 2D with the RGB rays waving right to left, in tandem with the "ABS - CBN" text appearing letter by letter. Then the slogan fades in underneath saying "In the service of the Filipino, worldwide." Then, as the logo is about to end, for a second we see the Kapisanan ng mga Broadcasters logo. Technique : 2D animation for the finished logo, 3D animation for the rest. Sounds : The 2001 orchestral fanfare, but it is slightly longer. When the logo is about to end, Peter Muñsgi says the name of the network with the slogan. Availability : Seen as a station ID from 2014 until somewhere near the closedown of ABS - CBN in 2020.

Well done on tracking down this footage. Very rare. The announcers are Peter Bolgar BBC One and Cathy Stewart on BBC Two.
