I just really think they shoot great and perform excellent and the fact that they hit the very spot you want them to hit the deer don’t go far. If you watch my Ohio hunt, you’ll see me get a 10 point that I heart shot with them.

@@buckydoedowner9040 Ty, but it wouldn’t have made it though the year, the neighbor was wanting to kill it plus the other people that come to hunt the property would’ve never let it walk. It was now or never. That’s why I booked the first week there. But you’re right there’s really great genetics around there unfortunately I just don’t have any property to hunt gear like that. They don’t have the money for the high-end outfitters with those big bucks.

@@markschall2333 we thought the same from the trail camera pictures, but he actually measures out bigger. He was bigger bodied he had longer main beams than we anticipated. I think that’s what gave him the extra inches.

@@donwilson350 great question. First I am very passionate about archery. I absolutely love bows and shooting them. But as I get older it’s becoming harder, both physically and just finding the time to shoot due to family responsibilities. However, not all states allow use of the Ravin. Massachusetts and New York are two reason I must continue to use the Mathews compound. That’s why a Broadhead like this 1.5 hybrid is great since it works amazing on both. I really only choose the ravin out of state because so many times on trips I’ve had great bucks hang up at 60-80 yards. A shot I deff don’t want to do with the Mathews but it’s a shot the ravin with a proper rest can make all day. But the ravin is easier so it does rob some excitement and reward from the hunt compared to harvesting the same great buck with the compound. But going home empty handed is clearly not an option if it can be avoided especially on a trip with a 12 hour drive.

Sorry to hear that man I don't hunt and I don't live in one of those states that won't allow you to use a crossbow I live in Michigan and I am a truck driver I used to use compound bows for years but with my job I am unable to be able to practice like I would like to so I've got a couple of Ravin crossbows myself and I absolutely love them I could never think about going back to a compound because it's still a bow in my opinion you still have to know your yardages and there's really not a whole lot of advantages over a compound with a crossbow like everybody seems to think it's still you got to know your yardage or you're going to miss but but I really love the crossbows and it keeps me in the field

@@donwilson350 exactly, I love my bow, but I also really love my ravin too! I don’t love all crossbows tho just for the simple fact they aren’t all as consistent and accurate as the ravins. I definitely look at crossbows as “bows” fitting of the archery classification and I still call bolts arrows refusing to call them bolts cause I hate the separation people put between bows and xbows. We should deff all support each other regardless of the weapon afield we personally choose to use. Cause at the end of the day we are all still just sitting in a tree, enjoying the outdoors, waiting on the same thing.

I have a Ravin r5x and a Hoyt compound bow. I will be using my compound bow for the added challenge.

@@derekbrock9814 might be that pic was circulating all over the Internet. I don’t know anyone with the issue even though so many of my buddies own the lift. Is your bow fixed and 100% now

I hope, I had three crack on my first lift after a month then as soon as they replaced one another would crack within a day then we swapped it out for a new one thinking maybe it was just that bow and one of them cracked. That one cracked literally two or three days after the letter came out and on that one they changed all 8 limbs and was there in 2 days. The first three on the first bow they would just send 4 to replace on either top or bottom which ever side cracked. It’s been alright for the past 3-4 weeks now but it definitely has me a little worried because it keeps happening, but I did take precautionary measures and bought a rx8 😂 now I have two great bows and if one goes down I don’t have to worry about not getting to hunt😉

@@derekbrock9814 yeah at first it sounds like they were changing them with the original limbs and praying but sounds like now they fixed the issue and are producing new limbs that definitely don’t have the issue. I’d be very upset if I had to fix it multiple times

It sure makes it easy to have trust issues with it after the luck I have had with it. Still have the bow and still going to continue to use it and see if it will hold up.

@@derekbrock9814 I had zero issues with mine knock on wood. And been hunting with it since last November. I heard it’s more cosmetics than functional that it won’t blow up since it’s just and outer layer issue. Did your bow show confirm that?

@@kevinellington1962 I’m bias and love climbers. Starting having to make mine own back in the 80s. Now we are blessed with so many different brands. Like your summit is great. Totally reliable, safe, and comfy. But it’s kinda a tank. Bulky to travel with especially a car, plus it’s heavier and bulky as well getting in the woods. If your only going 100-200 yards deep no worries but if your going back a mile or more now it’s more of an issue. I love how this one folds up razor thin, with the straps it’s in 13 pounds, and it don’t bang on everything walking in and out. I remember my achilles heel catching a tooth from my summit every once in a while, walking in and out. Now you mention saddles. I used them exclusively last year. But this year I’m back to a climber. I like saddles but I’m going retro with a stand upgrade and vibing me this year. However, this crossover climber is definitely not a summit! Size And comfort, or reduced to achieve its ultra lightweight and compactness. But that don’t mean anything in the hands of a skilled hunter. Back in the 80s most stands didn’t have seats. We stood the entire hunt. So I’m not looking for a love seat in a tree. The fact I even have a seat is a plus. We didn’t have hand climbers either so win win. This paired with a saddle or the new ghost harness can be hunted like a saddle stick and platform set up. And that is my personal huge benefit and selling point. Like on a saddle I want to put the tree between me and the animal. That position conceals me while also giving me the absolute best position to self film from. However, I need the ghost harness or a saddle to do it safely. A 5 point harness would not be best and maybe just plain out not work. But think of it this way, if your handy and wrench on stuff, how many Philip heads screwdrivers do you have? I have a ton. Same size different lengths, different sizes, Same length. you need to right tool for the job. That’s what this stand is. It’s another tool to make you a better hunter in an extreme and aggressive hunting style. It won’t work in every situation, I might need my sticks and saddle in some spots. But this stand is like everything lone wolf, it’s the highest quality and bad ass! If it works for you great, if not, even lone wolf knows that carrying other options to make you the best hunter and as successful as humanly possible.

@@dionysis84 yes sir! Definitely fail your style and what works for you first. This works for me mainly due to the bridge it’s has. Love that since it will be essential in allowing me to safely get into a reverse position to self film. The .75 is very sweet! Good luck in it this fall!

@@lewismcclain4668 I hear that! But better than not wearing one and hitting the ground. I’ve never worn a harness in a climber and I’ve been hunting them since my dad showed me how to build my own climbers in 1985! So this is definitely a step in the right direction.

@@reddelicious498 the rinehart xbow bag target is what I use when shooting field points and I use the rinehart rhino block with broadheads. Mines shooting 460ish fps

And they recently extended the warranty to include whoever buys the bow down the line. That's good that they're standing behind their product. My V3X did it aswell. They sorted me out without any fuss.

No joke they are the real deal. I pay full retail for these and am just thankful I found Mark and he sells them to me.
