Yeah, the field skills are pretty annoying, but you can easily use common blades to fill in on a lot of them.

Changing the weather is a pain, and I wish they made some way of doibg so guaranteed. I don't know if it is actually true, but is feels to me like whenever I teleport back to the same spot, the game only gives me the same weather, so I have only been able to change it when randomly teleporting around to different points. If you get the correct weather, you can teleport across the titan, and the weather will not change. So long as you don't go to a different titan the weather will stay the same.

Using "suggested field skills" will make Merc missions much faster, but using more "required field skills" will not.

If you want to successfuly break more often, you should increase Nia's Luck stat this can be done by giving Nia's blades specific core chips, or giving Nia luck boosting accessories.

Inherited core crystal specifically is usually considered better on Nia than on the 5th member, because she gets bonus damage when paired with Nia or party member 4, but member 4 is pretty bad with that weapon type.

Luck on Vess is actually really good, since it makes her more likely to successfully break. Ursula is also a powerful healer, but her skill tree is a pain in the butt to complete, since it requires you complete over 50 Merc missions.

Vess is one of the best healers in the game, with a Break art if Nia uses her. Her Lvl. 1 special attack is a full heal for the entire party, and she also has a healing art and a health potion art.

I don't want to spoil anything, but it might be useful to mention that in the late/endgame, it is best to have most your blades on the other drivers and not Rex, so I would avoid putting too many Rare blades on him. That said, definitely don't be afraid to give him a few good blades, just remember you want to save blades for the other drivers too.

If you want to smash an enemy, you should know that Nia's AI will NOT switch blades in order to set up a driver combo for a smash. She will only switch if she can use a blade combo after the first special you use. Rex's AI on the other hand will somewhat reliably switch blades in order to topple and smash, so it is best to control Nia to break and launch and let Rex's AI take care of topple and smashing.

Fun fact: In the game's source code, Roc's gender is programmed to be "4", instead of "male" or "female".

Can you upload full livestream vods? I am interested to see your playthrough. If I can give one advice in game, it is to buy art recharge pouch items like "Narcipear jelly", "Victory smoothie", and "Cream orange paratha", and permanently use them on your drivers. They automatically refill until you run out, and each time your pouch refills, it increases trust with your blades. Arts recharge boost also makes combat much faster.

Knucle claws are great if you use them on Nia, or a certain lategame party member who gets topple arts with them. On Nia, knuckle claws have one of the best launch arts in the game, though they are not the best healers. Adenine has an AMAZING skill which gives you up to 100% more items dropped by enemies, which means you get more core crystals, aux cores, core chips and accessories. Selling this gear is IMO the best way of making money in the game, and some of the gear you get from enemies is really useful. I also strongly recommend keeping any and all common blades with the "Treasure sensor" battle skill, as it does the exact same thing.
