As Good As Dead definitely took a turn compared to the first two books!! I honestly don’t remember a ton because it’s been a couple years since I read it but I do remember being shocked at how different it was and some of the decisions that were made… And I really need to read The Guncle, I love a feel-good, emotional book as well 😍 Also totally relate to the struggle of rating books, hahaha

Have been hearing lots of, we’ll just say, “less than positive” reviews of Middle of the Night, haha. And expectations almost always ruin things for me too, so I get it about June Farrow, although I really enjoyed that one. Hope you get out of your slump soon!

Having the experience of seeing a movie, liking that movie and wanting to read the book, then reading that book and being completely disappointed because it's not as good as the movie. I recommend you to read the book and then, if you are still interested in the movie, watch it.

Even though the main character feels like a 2016 millennial I couldn’t help but like Romantic Comedy, the first part is a bit slow but I still read it in 1 sitting. It was entertaining and fun.
