It's from the Mainland, maybe they don't like the story because too much a violence when fighting Crownless, i don't know why they thinking like that, so KURO change the story, i know it's actually really badass the CBT 1 cutscene was, and more make sense how they treating Rover like a stranger, and new one was more like from greetings into friendship already

It's supposed to be the opposite since Alpha came all the way back in 2023, a whole year before Acheron.
personal opinion, but I'd think that it's a type of character, like "white-haired antagonists who have red-ish outfits and are absolutely lovable". if you look closely, you can find many characters like that, such as Alpha: Crimson Abyss, Alpha: Crimson Weave (the one you mentioned in her new frame), Luna: Oblivion (her sister), Scar, Acheron as you said, W (from Arknights) or Arlecchino in Genshin Impact.
😭 But crimson weave is what inspired Acheron
Fun fact : Acheron was inspired by ACW And ACW was inspired by Black Rock Shooter. And... White and Red was Alpha's signature colour, because she was turned into an Ascendant. It's been like that since more than 4.5 years. Bonus info since I've seen countless brainrot saying that their animation is similar. They use Odachi, a katana that is 2 meters long. And the only way to unsheathed it, is by doing it overhead or, get an assistant to pull it. Sheating it like a normal katana is really difficult, slow, and not tactical, you'll be dead by the time you're done lol.
