I am a new pct and today I had a patient cramp. I felt so bad because I didn’t know what to do besides apply pressure and give saline. My Nurse and medical director didn’t seem to take it too serious as you say it is. Thank you for this information so I can better take care of my patients.

This is so ironic. I'm a black woman who is 53 years young. About 5 years ago when my then Dr's were Caucasian, they said that I had chronic kidney disease, and it scared the living shit out of me. Fast forward to about 3 years ago I got Asian/Indian Dr said that Caucasian and Blacks have different test to determine if you have kidney disease. I'm pre diabetic but not diabetic. No hypertension. My cholesterol is a little high but not high enough to be on medicine. It's big money in dialysis. My doctor wants to put me on Ozempic injections.

I wonder if she is still doing well? I pray that she is 🙏🏾

I tried to tell my brother this before he went on dialysis but he wanted to listen to the Dr instead 😢

I recently saw a RUclips video where a doctor stated that some people are being put on dialysis and dont even need it. It's happening in poorer Black communities, especially people who are on Medicaid. Doctors get paid well for referring people for dialysis treatment and these companies putting up these centers are getting fitlthy rich.

If you have it. Change your diet and lifestyle. If you don't have it and you're eating and living like the average person in this country especially in our community change your habits.

The reason why it doesn't make sense is because it doesn't. They make money off of your sickness. Kidney disease can be cured by changing the way you eat. The medical treatments are killing people. There's money in keeping people sick and all sickness has a cure. You must realize there's no money in a cure. That is why people stay sick.

We can’t talk about the rise in dialysis clinics in the communities and not speak on the overwhelming amount of alcoholics and inactive older folks in said communities. If those clinics weren’t there, on bus line / walking distance some people wouldn’t get the treatment they need. How many in these communities go for regular checkups? How many have active lifestyles in their older age and eating healthy diets..? Like let’s be frfr, let’s talk about the lack of self care in the community and not the dang clinics that are put there to save some lives…. My stepfather was diagnosed with kidney failure and still chose to drink. 5 years of dialysis and up until a month ago drank a handle of crown a week. It’s the food, it’s the alcohol, it’s the lack of self care for decades catching up!

We have so many Dialysis Places In the Detroit metropolitan area, that is just crazy. It makes me think it's going on. We need to teach take heed. To what's going on? They are all over the place. I noticed this 2 years ago and mentioned it to my daughter. What's going on, people.

I'm reading these comments an they are saying abt food people are eating ,which may play a part but speaking from a person who have a family member on dialysis, start looking at all the medicine you are taking that suppose to help with BP an other illness .What are the damage these medicine causing to the other organ,like the kidneys an liver. Food for thought. Look up the side effects before taking medicine an see if the side effects are worth it, Try natural remedies herbal treatment its your life.❤

I know of people being targeted by some kind of system that launch needle like wire. They don’t feel it until later. That when they start to feel a little itch or irritation. When they inspect the itchy area, sometimes their fingernail catches the tip of the wire. Long story short, they have extracted or dug out over 150 of those needles like bullets out from underneath their skin over a years time. They said the stuff that that are discovering are sometimes as long as their baby fingers. And sometimes they are twisted up into different shapes. And when it remain under the skin it itches and develop into dark spotty scabs that are not pretty marks. What if who is behind this wants the victim to not discover the wire and believe some bunk like they got some stupid ish somebody named “monkey pox or some other BS”. Think about that. Some crazy, misguided, evil BS going on. But this ish is really happening. Question is, is this part of someone’s big plan in the sky. Think about that ish.
