Quedtion what software did you use?

Matched up the FCC ID and bought a key from ebay. Read the new key using my KM100. Chip model (PCF7952A), IMMO type (HITAG2+EE(ID46), Coding (Manchester) all the same as the OEM good working key, but Locking Status is Locked (so is the OEM one). When I do the last step to touch the start button, it failed. Do I need a unlocked key? How do I unlock this new but locked key?

immobilizer light was on when u started the car? 47 or 8A smart card. How to know if it is 8A? Ha, hyundai / kia likes to make changes mid year. It creates a lot of confusion. I have a 2016 kia and I bought ebay key for it even they look the same. End up I needed a 2015 key. ALWAYS match up the FCC ID first!

Either battery in fob was dead, or fob was incorrect. Wrong fob will allow starting when placed in the pocket. When I'm not sure if fob is 4 or 5 button, I do an erase and program both types in. Check which one allows remote functions and reuse the other one. Great vid, Nicky!

The reason why the key didn't work properly was as a result of how you generated it. I have done quite a number and they all worked perfectly.

You only need to plug into the star connector on 2018 and up

Dose it usually take 12 mins to program a key or did you skip that part

This is Giulia not Stelvio. In Giulia you can access SGW (where you plug in the 12+8) without any disassembly by sticking your hand behind the steering wheel column. In Stelvio it's located behind the instrument cluster. Doing 2020+ Alfas with Autel is... well... very risky.

I tried km100 on 2023 Highlander but it failed to back up data....i have to use lonsdore with the ADP adapter to back up immo data......also lonsdore failed to generate emulator......and have to generate emergency ft smate key to program key....the one accept key but the other one refuse to add key
