sure beats rowing by yourself. think im going with gas. i would need like 4 huge batteries. gas can probably lighter. 🍻
I love that lake .. how about a video heading upriver all the way to sheeps crossing!!!!
Nice 👍
He's been there what, 2 or 3 years now?
something like that.
Not bad, except I was the one shooting!!!!!
🤣😂
Top!!!!!! 👏👏👏👏👏
Nice, I can't wait to get my 60lb. Motor mount just arrived today
me next to my index mariner 4 bought another inflatable boat the aqua marina aircat 335. take a look on RUclips at aqua Marina aircat inflatable catamaran
there $380 now!!!!
Awesome place! thanks for sharing.
How much weight do uou think you had on the boat with the both of uou.
between both of us and supplies.600lbs.
@@phxbird5713 Im 374lbs , i got me one, i hope i dont sink it!!
did you customize something to the flooring to get your chair setup to work? How did you do all that?
we did put a flooring in the bottom. plywood with duck tape on the edges.
How long is the shaft on your trolling motor? That looks like a nice setup.
I am not sure how long the shaft is.
Probably 36”
Vancouver island ?
I guess you did not see the Cactus along the shore line. Just out side of Phoenix Arizona
Does that really look like Vancouver island????
Possible for two people to stand up and cast?
Yes it has a hard floor
I am not sure of the standing and casting. more seating and side casting.
How many lbs thrust trolling motor?
50 lbs
Any problem with Carbon fiber props until now? :)
Looks great thanks for the tour
What part is this
hello in Johnston
Fun boat. Nice truck. However, you need to hang a warning flag on the back of that boat when it's in the bed of your Tundra. It sticks out far enough to inevitably get you ticketed. Might want to tie that boat down too. At speed with a good wind, it could fly out (seen it happen).
Thank you for the warning. I was wondering about that. and thanks for watching
we did have it strapped down for the trip to the lake. just took off the tie downs for the backing up part. ....all good and safe
@@sammysmirh3889 .. No problem. As I said, I've seen one fly out on the highway. That thing (doesn't weigh much) just took off on it's own, complete with fishing gear and trolling motor. Since then, I've been very paranoid about tying mine down on the trailer.
Also, its pretty surprising how much weight these boats can hold. The mariner 4 is rated for a max weight of 1200 pounds. Thats more than a lot of conventional boats of this small size.
They've just replaced the floor with wood. Just use the original floor as a template.
@@Zany_Zim I'm thinking of using some gym floor tiles. Don't plan on mounting a seat and I'd like to keep it light
I own this boat and motor.. its not for racing lol. But for what it is.. I enjoy it quite a bit. Its easy, convenient and fun.
what did u use for a battery?
@@kd_2715 I got a marine deep cycle battery size 29 DC. It's great
@@JorgeMalpica what sort of run time do you get out of it?
@@Zany_Zim if you do the math with a dc29 it’s a little over 2 hours full speed . Probably around 4 hours speed 2-3
@@kd_2715100ah LiFePO4 battery I get over 4 hours run time
Hey I just ordered a set of these off of Amazon and they came today I haven't put them on yet the stock ones the screw is countersunk into them in on the carbon fiber they don't seem to be countersunk I just was wondering if you think they're safe to use or not I'm a little scared to put them on I mean the stock work just fine as they are now but obviously the carbon fiber looks cooler so I'm hesitant to even swap them out right now anyway you could tell me a little bit more about your experience with these
Which brand are you using? New sub here! :)
These are no name from China
hey mate, how are they now? do you often fly that distance? I've been really reluctant to fly even to 1,000 metres.
How many batteries u used and how long does it last u buddy? I just bought one!
If you are talking about the battery for the boat. We had 1 deep cycle ( brand new) 12 volt and it lasted a few hours. we Do not have it fully charged on this trip.
@@phxbird5713 how have you found the mariner. Quality wise. Any problems. I'm thinking of buying one at moment. ?
@@rainerneumeister5239 we have not used it that offend. but the quality is very good for the price.
Pretty good speed, maybe you can get more. Electric trolling motor props, have an angle that top out approx 5mph. My 30lb on a smaller boat does 4 too though.

Been thinking to replace my props to cf props for my mini. Is it better than the plastic one? where did you buy it? Thanks
I picked the CF prop off of Ebay, from china.
Phx Bird57 thanks
Any problem with Carbon fiber props until now?
I love all the information that's on the screen very cool nice video
Nice Video my friend 😎👍 Keep it up and stay save 😷🤟🏻
How did you show the video with all the telemetry. I am a first time drone owner and am still on the steep part of the learning curve.
you will need a membership to airdata for the data file and the software is Dashware. www.dashware.net airdata.com
Interesting
What software did you use for this telemetry?
Dashware
@@phxbird5713 Thanks for that. I have an Air 2 as well. Is there a piece of similar software that would work for Air 2, or would this work as well. I believe create similar files, if not the same file type right?
what app did you used?
no app, was not fpv
Wow you did an a,amazing job for your first flight. Great JoB. Thanks for sharing this great video with us. Please keep those good videos coming.
