2019 SFR SCCA Autocross Round 9 (8/3/19)
This was my fourth time autocrossing AND I made a newbie move by not turning off my 2015 Subaru WRX's traction control. That probably would have helped get a faster time. There's plenty of room to improve like how I held the steering wheel while turning, the slalom, and brake/gas balance.
I apologize for the wind noise as it was a windy day in Marina, CA which was better than a scorching day like it is up in the Bay Area.

I have the Mishimoto performance air intake (CAI) and just installed the Boomba BPV on my 2015 Subaru WRX. Here's a few driving sound clips on the road and freeway. I'm not sure if the video and audio quality will be okay since I haven't uploaded to RUclips for years but here goes!

Here is another thing that Taiwan has that the United States should have. It's traffic lights with timers to let you know when the light will turn green or red. I know that some traffic lights in the US have sensors to detect cars but some of them are on timers. I think that might encourage racing and speeding though...

I don't know the names for these kinds of things so I just titled this video the way I did. I think the United States should use these for the crosswalks because it's better for pedestrians to know when to hurry across the street. My brother and I were talking about the traffic light, and I wasn't paying attention to when the animated figure started to "run" on the thing.

in the video, is your car tuned? Is a tune required for both BPV + Intake? Because my WRX is all stock and was wondering.
I have the Stage 1 + Mishimoto 91 v301 tune. It's probably a safe tune but will eventually do a protune in the future.

Shiiii bro it’s true the bpv gives you 15hp more ?
not really, it makes the car more responsive on its own. subaru intentionally made their bpv's leak under pressure. so this just makes it so that it doesnt leak. there could be a 15 hp loss over time from the oem bpv but that would take years if it ever occured. it really does help throttle response tho and sounds amazing with a cai.

I’m a little late but how did it hold up with the mishimoto tune
The Mishimoto tune is still on the car and has been fine for months. I think it's on the conservative side based on the autocross events I've done with it but good enough for daily driving to me.

Separating trash is pretty important to Taiwanese. If you notice, there's a recycling truck and the garbage truck has containers for organic waste; people open up the bags, dump the stuff in the container then throw the bags into the garbage part themselves. They don't need to "force" them to sort their trash because they do it themselves.
True and I think the way Taiwan does garbage collection is really awesome

- Stage 1 Mishimoto 91 v301 map - Whiteline 24mm rear sway bar - Kartboy rear endlinks - Ohlins coilovers with 9k Swift springs and Racecomp top hats - Cusco rear lower control arms - the rest are cosmetics like LED turn signals, rear F1-style fog light, etc. My suspension is done for what I do which is autocross every now and then. What mods do you have?

the Green Light countdowns actually caused more accidents... that's why most places stick to only Red Light countdowns (which reduce the frequency of accidents).

they have those in mainland China too, but they rust so fast because of the humidity... They were there for a year and gone the next. Here in the US of A, I actually don't mind watching the pedestrian lights count down and turn red.
