Why do you not turn on lights, and only use lanterns?

You're obviously a professional player, so I gotta ask, what do you do when you can't find any evidence at all. I'm a new player (console), and it varies a lot for me. Sometimes I find all 3 evidence before the timer is done, other times I only get 1 piece of evidence in 10 minutes. Finding the ghost room is usually no trouble for me (especially now that I got Tanglewood drive down like the back of my hand already), but sometimes the ghost literally does nothing. The 2 I have the most trouble with are DOTS and spirit box. I've had so many ghost types wrong because I had to guess it. Ghosted have had DOTS and never showed up in it once. Ghosts that have had SB, I'd walk all around the ghost room asking it questions, but no answer. I know you have to be close to it. When it throws something or I see the motion sensor go off, I run right to it and ask it the questions, but haven't gotten a response.

The quietness especially in the first night is definitely the most eerie. The crazy psychological thoughts that kid must be thinking.

Few things I learned form this game that may help. 1. Both parkour and combat xp turns double at night. .2 the weapons have different types it starts from white then green, blue, purple, orange and yellow, yellow weapons are legendary and very hard to find 3. Try not to make noise early in the game because you will attract virals and virals are very fast. 4. Never go out at night early in game, there are zombies named Volatile out at night that are extremely tough, has a high attack damage and are faster then virals. 5. In environment and buildings are full of items so search everywhere in game if you need itemes. 6. Alcohol and gauze can easily found in Hospitals. 7. Always Have a med kit ready to use in case of emergency. I hope this helps you get better experience from this game👍❤️
