God of War Ragnarök is a third-person action-adventure game developed by Santa Monica Studio and published by Sony Interactive Entertainment.
It is the ninth game in the God of War series and a direct sequel to God of War (2018).
The game is set in the realm of Norse mythology, and follows Kratos and his son Atreus as they journey through the Nine Realms in search of answers to prevent Ragnarök, the prophesied end of the world.
