@@JacowateHamaeran we don’t mind flop, unless is so floppy it’s sloppy and the toppings are left in the box. You should see how many people abused us on Instagram for giving “floppy shit” scores over 8!

@@GoodFoodFriendsi noticed you usually get margherita. I haven’t tried it over there, but the one I usually get (garlic prawn) is definitely the best I’ve had around the area (Glen Eira , chadstone, etc). I tried the prawn pizza at Bill and Ellie’s too - and the one at half and half is better .

@@javaforliving yes we get the Margherita because it’s the pizza that is easiest to compare from place to place, usually if somewhere has good dough, sauce and cheese they can do a good pizza. We will definitely try it out!

@@Legalpigeon we did a review of Leonardo’s, but if you see the review I feel like it was below standard. One of the best pizzas we have ever had in our lives was there, but on the day it was off.

Thanks, we try to describe what we’re eating but at the end of the day we have no idea. We’re just giving our opinion - we also really want to avoid saying anything that could be taken as “trashing” a business. So sometimes we just leave it at “not bad”. And yours was certainly not bad, it was nice. But really appreciate your feedback and we will keep that in mind!

@@SamJafari-n6r that might be the case for an official competition, this is purely our opinion on what we like. So pulling it out from…. Is pretty much exactly what we do!

@@GoodFoodFriends Can't now, long gone from melbourne, don't even know if they still exist. But from what I can see the trend seems to be minimal topping ,mostly cheese and tomato base and not much else. I blame the introduction of chains like Dominos that ruined pizza.

@@q36spacemodulator ah that’s a shame. Agree dominos is no good! We review the Margherita everywhere we go because it’s the easiest to compare that way, apples and apples. So yeah not much in the way of toppings

@@Clove_Parma I think the day we went to DOC it wasn’t up to their normal standard, as we had expected to be blown away. But I’ve also heard the Mornington store is better these days

I wouldn't call it biased, it's just that we had to start somewhere. We did over 50 in 2024, and we'll do more in 2025. We've been getting recommendations for pizzas out east, west etc so please let us know where you think we should go!

@@robertadams5221 I understand the sentiment but “artisan” is definitely not our go to and the top three are $24, $20 and $20 for a large Margherita which is on par or cheaper than most. And less than somewhere like crust, but way better quality.
