This band never got the respect or notirazation tharr it deserved. They are just as good as Stryper and Barren Cross .these guys know how to rock for Jesus. Praise God for these guys they've kept a.lot of people on the right path the.everwinding path to our God
That's because they didn't exist in a bubble and when people heard them they recalled the cool bands they were asked for give up like Metallica, Maiden and Megadeth and ran into the loving arms of Satan and the Lake of Fire so they could escape the nightmares and hell they endured being exposed to Bloodgood. Michael Bloodgood or whatever the fuck his real name is, is a self righteous douche bag and Bruce Dickenson wanna be, who would berate people at his own concerts who didn't want to listen to his shitty music and covered their ears. I think that was one of the first things I saw of this dude and instantly recognized he was an ego maniac, a prick and an asshole. And here is the truth about why "Christian Metal" sucks. It's because the two things are opposed to each other. Metal is all about rebellion. The "Christianity" forced onto people like this is rooted in imposing order on non white American males. It is a continuation of the type of shit that people in the south used to justify treating other people as property. It comes across in the music because it lacks the power of Satan and his brothers Lucifer, Obama, and the leader of progressives, Jesus Christ and his transgender wife Mary Magdalene. Jesus Fucking Christ was real metal. He hung out with people no one liked, despised money spent on shit like this that could be used to help the poor, and spent his time PWNING douchebags like Michael Bloodgood for being the assholes that they were. You made heavy metal approachable in Christianity in the 1980s (I was getting more into underground thrash metal as a young teenager as I got into Iron Maiden at age 16 with Seventh Son of a Seventh Son. I was exposed to your greatest hits tape by a church mate at Faith World Outreach as I openly listened to Metallica, Megadeth, Voivod, and Danzig. I discovered doom and industrial metal at the same time at age 19-20) when I was 20 I tried to form a thrash metal band with controversial subject matter and ideas I wanted to explore that would been taboo subjects for churches. The King James Only Movement defecated on heavy metal in general.
