A short train 200 passes Locomotive Bar 87 and the ACWR event venue in Pinehurst NC Saturday 8/24/24. In the video posted just before this one, the two ex CN SD60F were seen as head end helpers on an inbound grain train this morning.

Great video! I got it in Apex around 3:45, looks like it let off 5 in Sanford and 15 in Merry Oaks. Do you know if it let off any cars in Aberdeen?
Yes, dropped s fair number of them at Addor - not sure how many but just guessing on by how far he pulled up to shove back in, 20-30 ish probably. Not shown on video at South Street was G659 waiting for an ACWR crew. Plus G753 is on line at Candor too. And a L642 ran Sunday. Busy place lately.

I assume you mean in the orange band under windows. Summit View. Former Iowa Pacific - was used on Amtrak’s Hoosier State when IP operated that service. Car was built new for ATSF.

@JawTooth, that locomotive was ex CSX 600 unit. It has a tap room and seating area on it now.
What type of rail car is that at 0:54 ???
That was/is a caboose car. In older railroading, it would be the last car of the train. The conductor and brakeman would ride in it. Hope this helps.
