    I was just diagnosed with ADHD, used to do lots of projects but gave up until now. Your video was so clear and instructions precise that my first ADHD project turned out just great. I had one of the handles twisted so seemed ripped it and did it over, so glad I did. I will be making many more. I wish there was a way to share a pic so you can see what a wonderful teacher you are. I have subscribed. Looking forward to more of your project’s. 😊❤

    Is that really 3 5/8”? It looks like 2 5/8” in the video.

    • @nadasade
      @nadasade 9 дней назад

      Okay, I tried with 2 5/8”, and it still seems a bit big. It works! But my pouch is much bigger than the AirTag. I’m going to try to make the seam allowance smaller, but I’m worried that the inner opening might be too small if I do that…

    Thank you. Such a helpful video. Most things are working right now, but I think I will go in and check the dust and lint below the plate and definitely change my needle. I made your reversible tote bag that was great. I did, however. use fat quarters and ended up with a long thin bag. Still cute. Would love some projects with fat quarters if you don't have already.

    Will have to try this with the fabric straps - I usually use the nylon webbing. Quicker way if interested - I do a half yard per side, so only 2 seams pretty sides of one side together. Lining same. Then do a triangle with your fingers to box your corners, sew straight across to form the 3rd side of the triangle. I usually only do this on the outer bag. But I prefer my lining tacked down so it doesn't come out when the bag gets washed. Attach the lining by the corner to the triangle of the outer bag. Turn the outer bag around the inner one. Shake and adjust. I also try to get the bulky egdges on the opposite side so you don't get all the bulk on one side. Fold the two layers in at the top about 1/2 inch or more. Figure where you want to put your handles. To measure I just fold the bag in half so they line up - adjust the pinned handles as needed. Then you have your template to put the handles on the other side of the bag - no need to wonder if the handles are twisted because you can see them. I sew the top using a double needle and the SS setting on my Necchi machine - so rather than side to side which would break both needles, it goes back and forth or up and down - then you can have 3 colors of thread. If you want to do a bunch of them at once, I wait until I have about 20 bags - all with one pin for each part of the handle, so 4 pins/bag, then all that has to be done is sew the tops of the bags - hope that helps. Will try the fabric handles though. I usually use 1.5 yards of webbing, cut in half with pinking shears so they are less likely to fray, then put between the bags about an inch for each part of the handle.

I like the crisp look of the new unwashed. I enjoy watching your videos. Can't hardly wait to get sewing area set up. Already bought the fabric.
