The extra gain is overloading some RF stage causing it to distort and produce its' own group of mixing products from arriving signals. Add more gain and all these extra signals will mix with themselves and fill your passband with junk, as you are seeing here.

Thanks Dani. The choppiness in the screen is due to the laptop hard drive speed. If I try to record a high resolution video capturing the screen (like it is the case with this video) on this laptop, which doesn't have an SSD, the hard drive cannot handle the amount of data and drops frames. I see smooth motion of everything on my end, it is the recording alone that has the choppiness.

I played this for my class when they were acting up and they promised to be good if I would only turn it off. Did you notice many have said elsewhere that they like your video but not one contester BOTHERED to "like" this video nor make a comment? Although I do not support contesting the fact you are seen in the video with the radio is a plus and the audio quality is very good. Why don't your contester friends say that? Because they all about themselves.

So many MORONS that make the DX much harder because they don't know their own call sign or have ZERO Respect for anyone other than themselves.It's the norm on DX & DXPEDITIONS these days along with those who do nothing but cause intentional QRM who need to be shot on the spot & left to rot in that spot.
