Sir why dW1 is half. We can take W1 as half. Also how W1*d∆1+1/2*dW1*d∆1 is equal to W1*d∆1. How is it possible, please explain it clearly sir.
dw1 load applied gradually. When load applied gradually, then strain energy is equal to average load X deflection
W1 full load (100%)is already their, in that case strain energy equal to load X deflection

🙁 The video explains the flexibility method(force method) for analysis of indeterminate truss.. This is not Castigliano method...please ,request is to change name of video. Castigliano theorem says that deflection is equal to partial derivative of strain energy. I don't find it anywhere in the video.
