Roatan Diving 2024
We took a family trip to Roatan in early 2024 and I was able to do some scuba diving with my kids. I used a GoPro 10 mounted to a tray with natural lighting to shoot the video. I'm an experienced underwater photographer, but this was my first attempt at creating an underwater video. The hardest part was learning DaVinici Resolve since it's far more sophisticated than video editors that I've used in the past. Please be kind.
We really enjoyed our stay on Roatan in the West End area at Luna Beach Resort and recommend it as a vacation destination. Their in-house dive shop, Blue Moon Scuba, was a pleasure to work with and made our children feel comfortable on the dives. The reefs around Roatan...

Beautiful video
so there's center frequency and bandwidth control, but no Q level control? what is the filter resonance set to?
It's basically a filter bank with 4 filters where each filter can self-resonate depending on the level, trigger, and frequency interplay between the filters. So there's no "Q" control like in a more traditional filter. It can be sort of tricky to control and dial in, but fun to explore.
9 years on .. are they really worth 1300 or more in Canadian dollars
Cwejman is gone (RIP) but his wife is producing some modules in limited quantities. I’d buy new modules if possible before paying absurd prices from Reverb or EBay.
The AR above the FM1 is another AR output ?
A demo involves hearing the device
Thanks for this amazing run down on and amazing module. The Cwejman tone is second to none, when you hear it, you realize why his modules have a bit of a cult status in the modular world, they are very special precision instruments.
no sound?
i want it
4:50 Actually I would ask HOW to use it and what the significance of the negative sum vs. positive sum is.
Hah! Expensive! Actually the 4X-MS (4-channel mixer) is amazingly quiet as well. I plug non-Cwejman modules into them but feel guilty for doing it. The Hexmixes have great utility but sooo noisy. VPME quad drum sounds clean; I try to pick and choose quiet modules by other manufacturers. 4X-MS can be a VCA and a panner. You can even VC the stereo out. Too bad Wowa didn’t get around to a delay or a reverb. 💔😔
Dear John - this video is 9:21 minutes long - and you play 00:00:18.29 seconds of Cwejman sound - and bypass ... is there any reason why 18s of Cwejman and 9 minutes of your discussing it - you thought was a worthy upload? .... Im going to buy these modules, and do a NO TALKING version ... just to balance this injustice ... and give people a authentic demo... (but thanks for showing the visual of it .. )
I’m going to be one of those simply because feedback is important honestly it would’ve been awesome to have a no talking version because the model does all the heavy lifting nonetheless do appreciate you coming online just thought I know talking version would be on the head thank you anyhow
What about the other 8 knobs?
Do you wana sell this one?
First we would need to get Jason interested in music.
Jason, tell me what I can do to get you interested in music…
Cwejman's modules look amazing, but they really are expensive and hard to get.
Hi Jason, thanks for the course! Sorry if you've mentioned this, but do you have these slides available online somewhere for easy review? Thanks!
Glad you enjoy the material. The slides are available at github.com/jasondbaker/infrastructure-class

$2K for sounds like that! Yay!
👍👍
Good video
Very informative and well done, continue the great work, please check out our page.
Some rude comments here! I appreciate your overview!
can you please add remaining videos or provide a link to those videos it's like learning half and searching other half can't leave in the middle you are providing great input
The description of the breakfast menu being associated with two values, "one food, the other waffles" does not seem right to me. "Waffles" is just part of a description string value "our wonderful Belgian Waffles" btw, this is why I personally find json more readable ... the meaning of white space in yaml can lead to misinterpreatation.

And this thing costs $1,000!?! Um, I’ll stick with the Boomtschak.
I think it was less than $500 new.
You need to stop making videos. You manage to suck every bit of fun out of the format and make me NOT want these great modules you're "promoting."
who hurt you
Very useful videos for people who wants to learn Linux and apply the knowledge in their work.
First patch cable inserted at 9 minutes 30 seconds!!!!
how come there is no audio, on top of the not nice intro part?
nice and clear. my go pro camera would work good. I live by Lake Calhoun. 89 feet is the deepest part. Hariot is south of Calhoun. I very much like vintage diving gear. And like to check out other lakes. I hope I can get up to Superior and check out close to shore. She has some deep parts that divers cant go . Nice video
Could the variance in variance in the random spread probability be achieved by just attenuating the high output?
BLD or VM-1? What you think?
If you are looking for a general purpose synth voice, then the VM-1 makes more sense. The BLD is great for bass lines, fast stabs, and analog drum sounds. It's probably a little harder to dial in sounds on the BLD than the VM-1. I don't think Cwejman is making the VM-1 module anymore, so you would have to buy it used.
VM-1 mk2 and BLD mk2 are coming this Sept/Oct...
You should learn the difference between a DEMO and a TUTORIAL ! ;-)
Checked video in three spots only heard someone talking, no samples I guess I wont be visiting anything from this channel
The quattro figaro from bastl can do all that and just a bit more, like inverting every single CV you feed it and some clever pre-routing for that. Of course that makes it a bit complex to understand. but hey, it does it for less money and even less HP. Sound quality wise I am no engineer. Sounds good to my ears though.
Looks great, but unfortunately was discontinued - one has to wonder why?
What about CTG-VC? Still sitting in my rack unexplored lol
just play it already
he played it in the beginning, shakin my bread shakin my sled
Great in depth explanations, but it would be great with more audio examples
this VCOs sound so musical. btw what drums are you using at the beginning?
Great tutorial! This convinced me to buy this beast of a module
h f ji f g d l
do you sell cwejman modules?
poli pollo No, I'm just a hobbyist.
are you sure symmetry isn't just for creating asymmetrical clipping distortion on the output?
Hello Jason , thank you very much for your demos ...I saw them all. Hope to see some more from you in the future.
i love the sound. i take it you can hook up a keyboard to this?
Damn delicious sounding oscillators. Mind if I ask what filter you are using on these?
+Mark Tajzler I was probably using the Cwejman MMF-6 filter.
Well they sound fantastic! Even the raw unfiltered portion at the end. Thanks for the rundown!
