Can you replace it with an aftermarket 4 channel amp? Assuming you also raplace the speakers)?
When you pull out the amplifier is the factory wiring left. Left right front back have its own ground after I disconnect the amp or do I need an adapter thank you.
I have a 2004 GMC Yukon Denali and I’m having a problem getting sound to come out my speakers. I’ve tried everything besides cutting wires. I’m going to use my own amplifier but having a very hard time bypassing and getting sound. Any suggestions?
P
is there a sub in the center console somewhere? i thought there was
Just wondering when you sold that amplifier to your friend did he have to have it re-flashed in order for it to work with his system
U copied my video from 2020!!!!!!!

Really makes me wonder why was the previous owner of mine just so insisted on removing it if its that bit complicated just unplug em n do the bypass like god damn
For the most part, this video is completely useless! Why didn't you actually document the removal of the amp? It's not there so someone removed it....What tools are involved? What comes out first? Why is the amplifier suspect? What is going back in? Factory or aftermarket? Who repairs Bose? Where can I send it? What is the other audio equipment in the video for?
Be careful messing with that wiring box that he said is just for the amp. I messed around with it in a 2003 Tahoe and now nothing in the car works at all and the car wont start. I think it controls more than what he says.

Just thought I'd give you a quick thanks! I was able to use this easy trick to remove the bad Bose amp from my 04 Tahoe and replace it with another, without removing the center console or hacking it up.
What are the symptoms of a bad amp? My 04 Tahoe has the music and chimes cut out intermittently, but when I hit the radio it works again, lol.
“Cuz his took a shit” 😂
So theoretically I could remove it and install a 4 channel aftermarket amp there right
I'm trying to hook my friend aftermarket radio up but the factory Amp is causing me not to what can I do to make it it work
You have to hook up a wire to power I had the same problem on mine I think it’s to power the amp
Can you get the Bose sub out without taking the console out. Is it as easy as the amp? Other videos are showing taking seats and console out to get to speaker.
Any idea if the bose amps are interchangeable between an 03 and and 05 tahoe? My 03's amp is under the cup holders, not the jockey box.
Does your speakers not work in Cold weather?? Mine only kicks on when it gets about 80 or 90 degrees out... Weird
@@coatneyadkins9005 cold weather didn't seem to affect mine. That is pretty weird.
@@ShaneSchimpf ten four. Yeah it is weird. I swapped the radio unit and unlocked it... Still same problem... Gotta be the amp wouldn't you think?
@coatneyadkins9005 someone told me recently to check the wiring harness if I had redundant stereo controls on the steering wheel because its easy to wire them wrong. But if that's good and it's all wired correctly, I'd probably try swapping amps. Good luck 👍
My truck has after market deck , just finding out this Amp and sub are there is there any way to test n see if they work
OK I got a question I got it 01 I guess it had the Bose system in it that one amp does it run the entire system or is there two amplifiers I’ve seen the videos with them under the dash also seen videos with them in the back left corner panel this is the first one I’ve seen with it in the center console need help thank you my subwoofer is dead cannot get any sound out of it Brand New Polk audio speaker is there a certain wire to cut it on or is it already on if all my door speakers are playing rear tweeter is not playing also
How do I remove the factory subwoofer to replace it with a bigger one how to remove the center consul to get to it
Ive replaced mines with a ct sounds meso 6.5 400 watt rms, ran that sub to a seprate amp though and with some modification it is possible. Also you can replace it with a cheaper 6.5 skar audio subwoofer with slight moduicvation aswell and have that hooked up to the factory connectors. I ran a seprate amp with my ct sounds meso because i knew i could put way more power to that sub.
Think ima remove that amp and hardwire a new amp in for highs and mids
If you have big hands like me, remove both seats and pull the console. Takes about 20 minutes and saves a lot of anger and hands
I’m curious how you did the bypass? Did you put an aftermarket amp in, and if so, did you put it in the same spot?
Very nice, I see you have great taste in amplifiers. DD Audio is the very best.
Tramp amp is the best in my opinion or crescendo I run 2 8k inMy Chevy suburban with 4 18 inch sundown audio subs but I’m using the tramps
@@jonreeder1419 DD is far superior in quality and durability. Just costs more per watt.
Have a 06 Silverado with an amp. Currently have good fuses to radio and amp. No sound, wonder if the amp is bad
Me too speakers work one day the not 1 doesn’t then #2 doesn’t work then 3 out of 4 don’t work.
Was the amp bad?
@@kadent7320 swapped it out, still no sound. Probably swap out head unit next
Same problem but i swapped out the deck. Still no sound. Replacing the amp is my next step. Or bypass...
@@Flexyourmemes did this work? I am about to bypass factory amp.
I removed my entire center console ... I have all the wiring.. and want to remove the wiring or relocate it.... what do you recommend ...
Did you find a solution to removing the leftover factory harness?
Thanks for sharing, 👍👍 what manual is that? And where did you get it?
How you doing...so I have a 2014 gmc sierra 1500 6 speed automatic, I am trying to research to see where the #5 celenoid is, is it single or are all the celenoids in one unit? Because I pulled a code if 2723, a mechanic friend of mine said go ahead and start with just changing the filter because sometimes that'll cause different codes to pop up but since I'm pulling the pan changing the solenoids is that something that I could do myself as well.
And after the thousand miles how she do?
Thank you. I was considering just pulling the exhaust down but I will push the transmission up as well now.
Only using AC Delco is not required nor does it have any benefit. Because of the requirement for DEXRON VI license there is one authorized addictive package and one performance requirement for base fluid. Thus if the fluid has a DEXRON license the performance is the same.
GM doesn't make transmission fluid..They buy from a major producer just like any Dexron 6 labeled product. You just pay more for AC delco label.. Its all the same and meets the SAE standards.
Close. If it's licensed it meets DEXRON standard. It's a group III synthetic with one approved additive package. So if it's DEXRON licensed it's all the same.
Was your fluid black when you first looked at it
Fucking GM engineering are assholes for not putting drain plugs in these pans.
That doesn’t make sense why would you keep the old filter ? What If it’s clogged ?
This is ridiculous, Next time, take a drill and a tap and tap the pan so you have a drain plug. Takes all of 15 minutes. WTF ruclips.net/video/zXFCBnpSEF0/видео.html
Penzoil is pretty good.
I have been able to suction 5 quarts using a cheap pump. (Very thin diameter tubing needed so figure that out first)
How did it turn out? Did you have any problems after flushing it?
