I sold the Class 20
After two years of the Class 20 sitting mostly unused, I made the decision to sell it. My Class 3 has been the main workhorse for my hobby. Plus, I wanted someone who needed the Class 20, to have a it. I still have the Class 14 and the NP4. They're not going anywhere. Hope all is well.

This will be a deviation from what I typically post. No leather craft in this one. However there are cows, LOL. This will still remain a leather craft channel. This is a compilation of GoPro videos, taken over the past five years. They were taken on Maui, Kauai, and Big Island. My wife, daughter, and I have made several visits to the Hawaiian Islands. Its an awesome place. We "Dave Ramsey" our ...

Did you wet that leather down or dry stamp it?
Where did you order your snaps/grommets from?
13:30 You mentioned "the distributor" and that you got the machine at a lower cost than buying the head only version from LMC. Who was the distributor? Thanks.
this bozo is too good to respond
What inch is that Channellock Nippers?
Hey how do I contact you?
Just got my Cobra 20 and sewing three layers of 8 oz leather leaves a tracking path from the pressure foot and needle foot. Anyway to raise up the feet or adjust the tension of the pressure foot bar and/or needle foot bar? Thanks . BTW it was a good video!
How much this machine
I know it’s been 5years but what distributor did you buy from? Also it’s crazy that Weaver leather wants $4600 for their 8” hand crank splitter and Cobra is only asking $3050 for their 18” motorized splitter.
My badge is different, if i sent you it could you make me a badge holder like this one but for my badge?
Can I buy this pattern from you?
Hello, couple question I have this machine and have had tons of issues and I am sure it’s operator error but I can’t figure it out. I only use Hermann Oak leather typically 9-10oz. Splitting the leather the splits just get thinner as it splits. I have destroyed almost an entire side. Electric or hand crank same results. The top roller is locked into place, I checked the gap between the top roller and bottom and it is perfect. If I am splitting a belt strip at 1-1.5 inches it runs perfect. Try to split anything 5-6” wide and it destroyed it. Any advice?
What or where did your purchase your plastic side buckle? Only found the cheap ones. The one you have better when wearing gloves . Thanks
Cobra class 3 gang
That good 👍
Can you please make me one
Hey Andrew, just wondering where you sourced your white leather from? Cheers
Honestly, i think there are better solutions. I think for the leather you are skiving, backing the blade up from the presser foot a bit and dropping the feed wheel down a small amount would have helped. Also, you may need more than one pass on some leathers. Adding a 2nd servo so that the blade runs full speed and you have independent control of the feed wheel is the best option. Even after you added the speed reducer, i can hear your machine struggling. You gotta adjust the placement of knife and wheel depending on the leather you use. It is not a one size fits all machine.
Glad that your solution works for you. I solved my skiving issues by adding a second servo motor. The knife runs at a constant high speed and the feed speed is independent and controlled using the speed pedal. Apparently some of the Fortuna models were set up that way and that is where I got my inspiration from.
Way to represent Omaha!
How do I get ahold of you about haveing one made?
Andrew in Omaha this is newbie Ed in Lawton again. Do you find the splitter much of a necessity in Bag making? I think the real necessity in Bag making will be a 2 needle post bed sewing machine, unison feed walking foot, for making French seams in Bags.
Andrew in Omaha this is Ed in Lawton Ok. I’m thinking of doing the same modification to my new MP-4. I’m new to leather and Bag making and plan on making lots of Bags. I take it you got your Speed Reducer and Belts from Leather Machine Company (LMC). Did LMC know the size of belts you needed or did you have to measure? Any help you can give me will be appreciated. Good video you did the hard part already by figuring out what the fix was. I also plan on purchasing the Rubber Roller for mine. I figure the hardest part is figuring out and drilling the holes in table top. Thanks again for the good information.
Yes I got everything from LMC. I used 34” and 36” belts.
I just added a second servo for the feed wheel. Im still waiting on a v belt to try setup. This may be my next upgrade! Thanks
Thanks! Good tip. I have installed a milled steel drive roller and a roller foot in order to make tapered straps for swells on bridle parts. I am using a Tech Sew SK-4. Will look into installing a speed reducer.
Dude these things are hell on earth I was blown away with the level of strength this small simple little river holds
Where do you get your molds
Hello how wide are your straps.
Did you prep the leather in any way? I am very interested in trying this.Wanting to try it with 3d printed Stamps.
That is what you had to do with old machines that didn't have the reverse option.
Perfect! I am experiencing this with my skiver. I’m on it, thanks Andrew! I’ve bought a reducer pulley and am waiting by the front door! I owe you one!
I’m so glad to know that this helped you. Good luck with your projects 🙂
Hi Have you found a hard upper limit of how thick the leather can be? I'm deciding between a np4 and np10. I make bags, totes, and wallets. not saddles. but I dont want to be sorry if the np4 can't handle things like Kodiak leather. thoughts?
Bell skiver is my next major purchase. Where did you get yours?

Is it possible to get ahold of one of those molds? Your Uncle still making them?
Great project. Thanks for posting!
Very very nice. I really liked your workshop. Good set of tools too
I can't really say I like the look of cattle brands on my leather projects. I don't really dislike them but I can't say that I like them.
I guess it depends on the project. I certainly wouldn't want one on a evening clutch but if I was heading to a ho-down I would.
Great job on the bags, Andrew! Did you adjust the tension on the skiving machine?
Where did you get the clear plastic film? Awesome work
I'm betting that pouch looks much nicer in person than in this video and in this video it looks awesome. Nice!
You changed your channel name.
Yep, purse strap , done! Thanks.😊
where can I download the pattern?
Thanks for the helpful advice! I live in NE as well and I’m just starting my leather crafting journey. I’ve been looking for where to get my leather from and as you may well know there aren’t a lot of local options and I’ve been hesitant on buying online. I’ll definitely be name dropping you for the suggestion of Springfield leather company. They sound like the perfect place for what I’m looking for. 😊
Great video. I just received mine today.
How much for one? If you're not interested no big deal but I'd buy one
Do you have a pattern for this wallet that can be purchased? Former LEO and my former Chief has asked me to make one for him. Kinda new to this so looking for some guidance on creating one for him. Thanks!
