      You need to be engaged in NDIS work in Western Australia (WA) to be eligible for the NDIS Check. We recommend waiting till you arrive in WA to lodge your application as this simplifies the identity verification process. However, if you need to lodge from overseas, email our Customer Support Team at NDISCheck@Communities.wa.gov.au and we will assist with your individual circumstances.

      Hi Deeparch, an NDIS Screening Check is compulsory for people who work in risk assessed roles for registered NDIS providers. Employers can assist you to determine whether the role you are applying for is a risk assessed role and therefore requires an NDIS Screening Check. You must be in, or proposed to be in, NDIS work to be eligible to apply. Thank you for your comment. Communities appreciates your interest in working for the Western Australian Government. There are various employment opportunities available within the government, including the Department of Communities, which offers a diverse range of positions across the state and at different levels. Regarding Level 1 appointments and the Employment Referral Service, these are managed by the Public Sector Commission. If you would like more information about the process and available opportunities, we recommend reaching out to the Public Sector Commission directly. You can contact them at admin@psc.wa.gov.au . In the meantime, if you're specifically considering a career at Communities, I encourage you to explore our current job vacancies. Where I'm from it's called Child and Family Services (CFS), after graduating with my bachelors degree I started working as a Case Manager with a local CFS where I'm from, terrible experience for me, most of our cases were bullshit, taking children from their beloved homes and families over something small and easily fixable was not what I signed up for and envisioned what it would be like, although I must acknowledge some of the cases I worked with were legit and still traumatic for me, I worked as a Case Manager for 6 years and most of that time I tried looking for other jobs not related to social work but no one would hire me, well I guess they wouldnt want a former CFS worker working with them do they?, but I eventually found a job with a non profit organization that focuses primarily on child welfare advocacy and family support, I work as a Assistant Chief Administrator there, I mainly supervise Program Leads and employees, take over their jobs when needed, and other administration work, it's been 3 years working with them and I am grateful for the opportunity to work against the child welfare system and provide support to families who are deeply affect by this terrible system that we have.

    • @alanporter2769
      @alanporter2769 Год назад

      Wow you are a great person.to see through bullshit of how they steel children from families with an easy fix problem..they stole my two children from my partner for a stupid reason and would not let me as the father take them untill the mother got her shit together..after they took my kids .we were told to do parenting courses.it took over a year to get into one .because facs took that many children.they were all booked out for over a year .we sufferd extreme trauma phycological trauma and depression .so did our children and so have our children who were put into care ..we sufferd so much phycological trauma .that I. Couldn't function at work and I just never went back.i was rejected legal aid 3 times because I couldn't afford to get a house to get them home after splitting up with my partner who was to traumatised to get her self esteem back.i eventually enticed my child to run away .my boy.after 6 years..he had to leave his sister behind in foster care.he is very traumatized over this and it's taken me 2 years to try and stabilise his erratic behaviour.after he came home .I had to virtually beg dcj housing to help me get an affordable house .I had to live in my car with my child for a year... Centrelink would not pay me any money for him being in my care because he ran away.so I had to support him on my job search payments for two years ..before all this happened I had a FIFO job as a brick labourer money was no issue at all.now after years of my child being stolen by dcj..I suffer trauma post traumatic depression and struggle to even think about starting another job as I am so phycologicaly disturbed by what FACS have done .my little girl is still in foster care and i have been asking for home visits for 8 years.only just 1 month ago I was offered to have my house checked out so she could visit me..im about to apply once again for legal aid now that I have my own house and I have stabilised my son again .he also won't go to school now because he was moved through numerous schools and struggles to fit in anywhere...they ruined our entire families life.we have two there daughters who lost their brother and sister to facts and they also have been traumatized and phycologicaly damaged for ever..this is so wrong .I want this whole system changed but all the government officials only care about their weekly paychecks so do FACS workers .they take children then over exaggerate the issues why they took them to cover the reason that they took them and to protect their own careers.the government keeps this all secret.kids can go home at 12 and a half year old if they choose .but the government will not tell biological parents this.as they wanna keep your children in the system.and they don't care.thier so afraid of letting a child go home .because if that child's gets hurt their heads on the chopping block.their scared of losing their income .but they don't care about destroying our income and our families Future

However it is not the system that makes a good SoS implementation but more the way of human communication. But I hope that we can provide a good digital platform so the children and the families can count on the professionals to always have the data up to date and available to do there work.
