NPs are honestly way more attentive and are more willing to take my concerns seriously versus any doctor I've had.
Hello, I advise you to contact Dr Luther if you are preparing for your nclex, be it RN, PN or CNA He is the reason I and my husband are very happy today working as Rns🎉❤
Lmao I’m always like wtf man leave earlier
very simple to understand . thanks
You are welcome thanks for watching
Me too sis! I just failed my last semester over loosing 2 points on a dam Dosage exam (got an 88%, needed a 90%) while I had a B in all my classes. This was my second time in nursing school, now I have to go back a 3rd time! I am currently recovering and preparing to readmit in my program this Spring. It's a trip, but so worth it...Thank GOD you kept going because I did! 😘
You got this! ❤️🙏🏿it’s worth it no matter the storm
@@shippydollregisterednurse4152 Thank you! I will keep you posted...
I love your content, and I am glad I found you. Anxious new grad here😂
Awww ☺️ thank you 🙏🏿 you will be great 😊 Aim to learn daily while on orientation. Stay confident. Once you are confident you’ll be resilient and ain’t nothing can stop you from conquering
Love it😍, very detailed
Thank you much 🙏🏿
❤hey
Hi 👋 bless
Very important to know how think critical as a nurse registered
Oh yes 🙌🏾 well needed skill to practice safe
You just gave me the push I needed to enter nursing school
I am happy to hear this … turn your dreams into reality my dear …you got this 🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾
What an attitude! And not in a good way. I have had great NP, but it still is wrong to be charged the same as seeing a doc.
They wouldn’t charge different because they work under a MD also
My nurse practitioner was like my 2nd mom. I loved her.
Very nice 😊
Nurse practitioners care about the patient. Doctors care about what kind of insurance they have.facts
Please quit your job before you intentionally hurt someone out of spite.
Bait and switch without telling the patient is just wrong!
I PREFER the nurse practitioner at my cardiologist office!!She actually takes the time to explain things to me and seems like she cares WAYYY MORE!!
PA and doctor ignored my aneurysm in 2022 , blessed to still be here. NP's can be the same. It really boils down to their personal beliefs and what they've been through medically, personal or professional or if their plain and simple biased against certain patients which will determine the kind of care you get or don't get. I've worked with doctors and nurses and I've been the patient and was blessed with good paramedics, nurses and doctors and CNA'. But that's not always the case. I take better care of myself, although I was when this happened. Then my dietary could have been better, less salt. The most understanding doctor saw me in ER after I developed a blood clot from an IV, it was because he himself had a stroke and was able to offer me valuable insight into my care and taking care of myself and a nurse who had her thyroid removed more valuable advice. They both were willing to share. Choose who is the most active in your care. To many in medicine just for money and title, hardly any care to be found, sad to say. I've dealt with more medical practitioners than Id care to say. My mother and daughter both see them and the system in the USA is just broken
I prefer a nurse practitioner 😊
NP are better than the doctors..they listen to you and spend more time with you
Were the math dosage calculations hard? I’m a new grad going to start orientation soon and I’m just curious
Sorry I am literally just seeing your comment There is not much dosage calculation. The computer does most of the work. Hope you are doing well in your
Wow what a caring soul ..eye roll
I love my nurse. She’s so thorough, listens to me and takes her time 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼
Some nps know more than the doctors. Don't disrespect someone who's willing to help u just as well or even better just cause u don't see MD. She has a lot of other important letter in her title they wouldn't understand anyway which just shows us she knows more than some mds.
No disrespect but why am I paying Dr's prices 😊
😅
NP's dangerous. Should not treat anything but earaches, etc.
My mother had a NP with this same crappy attitude. She missed all the symptoms of a blood clot that nearly unalived my 70 yo mother. Never again.
One love Respect ❤❤
Love np
Thank you😊
If she thinks you need a doctor she will call one in. She can handle 95% of normal family doctor visits 😊
I love my nurse practitioner. She has been in my life for over 10 years, and I have only seen the doctor twice.
I love my nurse . She always going the extra mile to help us old folks. Even filling out medical forms. Which I'm sure is not her job. My nurse takes my blood test. It's great . Less trips to a lab. It's great they have the ability to do more now. Fyi they always have done alot sadly not regonized for it. So be thankful for the positive reinforcements. They're greatly needed. ❤❤❤❤
RN 40 yrs here - go girl
I rather see an NP..they listen
Shoot...I love my nurse practitioner! She's awesome! ♥️
I jus dont.like wen NPs introduce themselves as a provider instead of NP
Always speak to a doctor.
I'm sorry but I don't think I'd go to a NP with this attitude. I and my son have both gotten wrong dx from 2 different NP in the same practice. And my son was on a wrong med that made symptoms worse from another practice. We had to go to a larger city to get that straightened out. We're in a small rural town, so the options are few. I prefer a Doctor. Sorry, no offense, but bad experiences are lasting.
my mom suffered with a horrible cough and sinus congestion. to the point it was painful. her primary physician just brushed it off as asthma and told her it was normal, no matter how many times she went in. one day, her physician wasn’t available and she got an NP instead. diagnosed her with pneumonia
Inferiority complex
I love nurses who don't hesitate to call a patient stupid for jeopardizing their safety for nonsense reasons. That said, you need to remember that the patient has the ultimate say so on whether they receive that medication at all. Barring a blatant case of probable self harm, doctors and nurses should have no authority to override the consent of the patient. For examples, look into the legal kidnappings by psych facilities
I would die if i looked like that. Poor girl.
Bold statement from a capital letter H 🧐
@noracola5285 what's wrong with the letter H ?
@@hgm-mh5tm Ask your therapist.
@@noracola5285 what's wrong with you? I have all the rights to say what I said. Stay mad
@@hgm-mh5tm I'm not your therapist, nor am I your mama. You may sit down now.
Loser
I have a np.. had sooo many issues... Filling Rx's at her leisure.. COVID, extreme congestion. Inflamed lungs.. issued Albuterol for a nebulizer, told I needed a unit.. after waiting 2 months finally got a call through.. asking if I was supposed to drink those tubes of medication.. was told the order was faxed.. given the number for ME to follow up.. found fax never received.. antibiotics issued a week after my appt.. pitched a fit.. nurse called to say they we issuing that Rx.. only to ask what med?? It was on my do not issue list.. another 2 days went by B4 I was given another. Obviously she is there for the paycheck .. rather than the care of her patient.. now I am filing a big complaint to patient advocate. The will check into sueing. So done with this behavior in my care.
I would rather have an NP.
No i don’t see her all I see is a moon pie
NPs are so good. And they can stay longer because they arent on a time limit. ;)
Full stop on doctors, hospitals, etc…. I take care of myself better!
I personally believe NPs to be better educated than most doctors because their knowledge comes from experience, not a textbook
Thanks for sharing the differences. Wow, congrats!! You seem like such a nice nurse- you are truly appreciated!
Awww thank you much 🙏🏿🙏🏿👏🏾🩺
