Webinar: Essentials for a Machine Vision Lighting Lab
You're not going to always have the perfect light for every application in your lab.
So when choosing lights you want to have on hand for in-house testing, you want a range that is comprehensive enough to come up with solutions even with fewer options.
In this webinar, we cover the lighting equipment you need to use each of the 4 basic lighting principles: direction, wavelength, amplitude, and polarization, with guidelines for choosing the lights most relevant for your lab.
At the end, we share a full list of lights we generally recommend to start building an effective machine vision lighting lab in-house.

Webinar: The How and When of Non-Visible Wavelengths
Просмотров 1787 месяцев назад
One of machine vision’s biggest advantages is seeing light beyond the visible range. But while infrared and ultraviolet light are useful, sometimes there might be more than one solution. Because for non-visible wavelengths, it’s not just about which wavelength gives a better image. And with more wavelength options available, how do you determine which is best for your application? In this webin...
Webinar: Removing Unwanted Glare
Просмотров 34611 месяцев назад
We tackle one of the most common challenges in machine vision - removing unwanted glare. Glare and reflections can significantly impair the accuracy and reliability of machine vision systems, leading to costly errors, such as not failing unacceptable parts, and downtime trying to constantly troubleshoot the vision system. This webinar outlines best practices for effectively suppressing glare in...
Webinar: Controlling Machine Vision Lighting for Your Application
Просмотров 515Год назад
Lighting control is the part of machine vision lighting everyone wants to be simple. Many people wonder, “Can’t I just turn the light on and leave it on while my machine is running?” In some cases that is an option, but there are many reasons to have some type of intensity control: - Extend the lifetime of the LEDs - Intensity control allows the lights to flash brighter resulting in more light ...
Webinar: Common Pitfalls in Machine Vision Lighting

Lighting is a big reason for unreliable machine vision systems. We've performed thousands of lighting evaluations for machine vision systems. Misconceptions at the evaluation phase result in the wrong lighting for your application. And when you find out too late, 1. The system you build needs a major redesign, which pushes the project back months, costing you and your company 2. The system isn'...

LFXV Flat Dome Light: The Perfect Lighting Solution for Wrinkled and Shiny Objects
May I know what type of camera you used?
thank you
can you suggest me a light with intensity control automatically
There are a lot of factors that go into selecting a light. But if you are selecting a light only based on automatic intensity control, that would be a light with a built-in driver. Our Effilux lights all have built-in drivers. However, if you need a light with a certain form factor (like coaxial, low angle ring, flat dome, etc.) a controller would be needed to control the intensity.
@@ccs_inc. I need a system that controls the light for example I will set the best light for my application and if there is a change in the environment it automatically changes according to need. there is no problem we can use other parameters as well
Great demonstrations - well done!
Hi can I upload the video in other video platform🤗(I'll note that the video is from CCS🙃
👍👍👍
👍👍👍
🎉🎉🎉
One small pet peeve. The light is not "wrapping around" the object. You are simply getting reflections from the edges of the diffuse light source.
What stand are you using to hold the camera?
We use Kaiser Copy Stands!
Is there a way for a normal guy trying to do microscope imaging to purchase a light from you guys? I have an idea of which one I may need but it seems impossible to purchase from you. Thanks
Thank you for reaching out. If you are located in the Americas, you can contact CCS America directly either by Phone: 781-272-6900 Web Contact Form: ccsamerica.com/contact.html
Hello What is the name of the axis you're using please ? Thank you for your videos, they are very useful and easy to understand !
