    Thanks for sharing another great video. Can I ask what is the 'black' substance you were applying to the cuts where you removed the branches please?

    • @phubonsai001
      @phubonsai001 7 дней назад

      It is a healing glue. It protects the cut from water seeping in and causing the tree to rot. At the same time, it provides a stimulant for the tree to heal quickly and can close the scar in the fastest time. It has many colors: pink, brown, white... depending on which color you like to match the tree. Apply a thin layer the first time, the second time after the first glue fades, usually about 1-2 months. Thank you for watching the video.

    • @mikeswain9085
      @mikeswain9085 7 дней назад

      Thanks for the help. It's probably something that's not available here in the UK. We have a couple of different types of green or brown coloured 'putty' but nothing like the 'glue' you used in the video.

    As a beginner my most difficult part of bonsai is envisioning what I want the tree to look like. It’s especially difficult if a tree has many branches making the decision more troublesome and confusing. After that first or second removed branch it becomes much easier. Health and happiness my friend.

      Sorry, it's hard to sell a bonsai that far! If you really like tamarind, go to the store and buy a kilo of dried tamarind to eat, then take the seeds and plant them within 1 year and we will have a lot of tamarind trees. Just one year, they grow very quickly. You will have a tamarind bonsai garden. Thank you for watching the video.

    Great to see this plant that we call Ming Eralia in US and lepcroot (bird's foot) Asian herb here in Thailand made into a bonsai. I have 3 large ones I grew over 7 years that were Iike bushes, but they would not maintain their form in wind or rain. I cut them back a few months ago and put them into bonsai pots with severe trimming. One was made into a cascade style, but I have had to weigh the main branch to bend it down. It's so interesting in this clip to see the trunk planted on a slant, and I will try one of my plants that way. Master, you lead me in many directions. Your hands are so strong but your message and lesson is always gentle and soothing.

    Master, Great to see an unremarkable tamarind become an interesting and curvaceous dragon in a powerful pose. Here in Thailand, we have many tamarind, but I have not chosen to work on a tall slender one, but after seeing this example, I will do so. I know the tamarind trunks are very sturdy, so I will follow as you did and massage the trunk by bending it before applying wire. I will look for a good specimen tomorrow. Yes, my friend, we are both passionate about trees, and it is good to have the energy of the trees to bring people together from different cultures with me from Boston originally. Here in Phitsanulok, I have a large garden but no friends who have the passion we have. Thanks, with sincere appreciation for keeping me company. Come to tnink about it, I am not sure you created a dragon tree or that the tree was just a way for the powerful dragon in you to be felt from inside you through your strong hands.

      Old tamarind trees are much more beautiful when they are made into bonsai with flowers and fruits! I used to have a few. Actually, tamarind trees are very beautiful when they are made into bonsai because their trunks and branches look old and beautiful. If you have a large piece of land that has not been worked on, you can plant more small bonsai trees. In a few years, they will be a great source of material to create beautiful works. From the bottom of my heart, I always thank you for always watching my videos! I wish you health and happiness and keep your passion for bonsai forever! My friend!
