I sometimes look up gameplay of songs I don't have unlocked in rhythm games, and each time I am disappointed at how LAZY* the videos look.
*From a hyperactive kid's perspective, at least xD don't take this too seriously
"Drag notes? Hold the hand sideways so you don't have to move it!" - Actually making the song playable? nah thanks, I prefer the exploits that make things harder

In this run i use no upgrades, i just wanted to see how soon after starting a new game, can i go back in pure freeroam. Turns out, immediatelly.

its actually quite hard to get here lol, you need to use a drone to hop on it 3 times, and you have to make it all in one go actually, you need to hop on it only twice, but then the third time you need to use it to get a speed boost while gliding lemme explain so you cannot stand on the drone, right? it will push you off and getting to the building where the antenna is (picture above) seems imp...

I agree! thats how i play the game all the time, and the craziness of the city makes it very "replayable" in a sense of "Every time you come back, you can find a new spot!"
the way i figured this out was that if you climb anansi tower you can then glide down to reflection lol 😂
I think the time to reach the there is around the same... i just dont like gliding if i can avoid it :v (TOTALLY UNBIASED I SWEAR)

Hey, you seem pretty into the second Mirror's Edge. Are you perhaps aware of any other interesting parkour games? I pretty much only played the first Mirror's Edge, Celaria and some random unfinished game somewhere on the internet. And Celaria just seems a bit too abstract and 'not grounded' to me. I am developing a parkour-ish game myself, but it might take a while.
You might like Vector on mobile. Shame for the micro transactions - if you’re on android you’ll enjoy a modded apk of it,
Titanfall is the best movment shooter and it encouages the same flow type state (though it provudes no actual benifits) it is a really cool game with movement and gunplay done right
yes i do!! please check out Lemma, it's a fun twist on the genre where you can create a new wall by starting a parkour move, it's really clever There's an older game called Hover, i used to play it so much. Its kinda RPG-ey since you can make a character to be best in a specific kind of challenge, and the tasks aren't very revolutionary... BUT the world is awesome! It's very much like MEC in that regard Downward is a cool game, it has parkour infused with magic. It's more geared towards a metroidvania puzzler! I really. REALLY. liked Deadcore. It doesnt have much parkour per se in it, it's just a platformer. But i enjoyed it a lot, so it might strike the itch Last but not least... Refunct! it's a simple and short game. I like how the colours change where you step and the ending is adorable
@@toffiklubitoffi8561 Thank you everyone for the recommendations. While not everything mentioned seems up my alley, that's definitely more parkour games than I was aware of previously. I suppose if you relax the definition a bit, Overgrowth and Story of my Uncle can be called parkour games as well. Maybe even Watch_Dogs and Grand Theft Auto 5.

Update for console players and maybe PC, the green areas around anansi dont actually work, i tried every solid building that can be reached and no, so that side is cut off unless you loop around from trium or charter

12:20 this board doesn't seem to be nearly as glitchy in my game. Faith in my game doesn't stick to it like yours do here, she just slides off 99% of the time. Took me about an hour to finally get her up there so I could do the last wallclimb, get the final trick right and grap the pipe. Thx for the guide though, I learned a few new tricks here
