I remember when the land was first purchased and it was a dream of a member who passed to create a rose garden. The minister's wife, Connie Johnson, designed a rose garden and many roses were donated. I loved going there and working in the garden. Once in a while someone would say they'd come and help me, but it preferred to be there alone, working the garden and feeling the energy of the ground. It was renewing. Sharlene
