QMTech DE10 Nano Clone Board Swap
I recently obtained another QMTech DE10 Nano alternative that has built-in SDRAM. The current QMTech board I have does not have SDRAM so I was using a RAM module that's for a different MiSTer setup I have. In this video I swap out the QMTech boards in the case I obtained directly from QMTech Aliexpress page.

I previously posted about the Dell 4:3 monitor I obtained. There is an optional soundbar that you can attached to it and I was able to obtain it, so in this video I install that soundbar and do some MiSTer FPGA sound testing with it. Hi everyone! Recently where I work, there were some old tech items being disposed of and among those items was this LCD Dell 4:3 monitor with several cool features. I decided to film it and show you all. VGA: vga_scaler=1 video_mode=1600,1200,60,cvt DVI: dvi_mode=1 video_mode=1600,1200,60,cvt (cvt is not required. If you are also outputting VGA add the cvt) 0:00:00 Intro 0:00:21 Specs 0:00:42 C...
Hi Lu, thanks for the video. About the horrible thermal pad you should have used it the same as any double sided tape. Peel off one side, stick it first firmly to the heatsink, then peel off the second liner and stick it on the IC. The key here is to stick it confidently :)
Ha ha! Thanks for the tip. Never used a thermal pad like that so was so confused when applying it.
You say that the qmtech board with sdram soldered goes for around 130$, when I go to the store it says it costs around 150€. Did it got up in price or the 130$ are without tax?
Yes US prices are always displayed without taxes. When you switch to Euros, it's always showing prices including taxes (VAT) according to your country of residence.
@@thierrydelage1681 Thanks
Pity the board and case are never in stock :(
Hi!. These kind of videos are very interesting. Thanks Lu! 😁👍
You're welcome! Glad you like them.

It's very strange I have this monitor and of compare this with a CRT TV I have a 1 frame of lag. But in your's meditions have very unstable lag.
The only downside that I can see is that rotating the monitor will put the speakers in the wrong orientation. :(
Yeah, it looks a little offputting but it's not a mode I will use a lot.
I have one in storage, i havent set it up yet. When i tested it, mine seemed pretty dim. Is yours?
Yes, it is a bit on the dim side especially when initially turning it on. Does get a little brighter after some use, but not much.
A popular choice. Used a better speaker set and mounted mine on an arm for my own. Doesn't handle various refresh modes all that well though so you will have to run in high latency mode for anything than 60Hz. I also have a P190ST and it handles low latency mode and screwy refresh modes like a champ! Lower res though... :(
Not bad for a free monitor. It seems to suit your keyboard case perfectly. There is a 4:3 monitor that is currently available. It's the Dell P1917S it sells for a litlte under $200 USD new. The good news is that I've been able to find them used for as little as $20. It has HDMI, DVI, and VGA so you can connect it to just about anything.
Nice, for $20 I would definitely grab that monitor.
