    tandori spice, garlic and butter is my favorite blend on sweetcorn, i have never done it with fresh corn, always the vaucm packt pre boiled, bbq is the best way but in the oven or on a pan works great to. the garlic\allium experiment workt out great, got a harwest from all types, ooerprei was the bigest disepointment, a couple of 5 cm wide rokamole from the rounds i planted autum 23. maybe the biggest suprise:) germidour and messidor grew bullbilles in the stem? german wite,dugansky and music grew smal pea size rounds,from rice size bulbilles, so i think il plant half of the smalest rounds in atum and the rest in spring, to se if it matters to make the rounds bigger before i let them splitt to cloves, is the idea. the biger ones like chesnook red, romanian red, japanese,lyubasha and soviesky\sofia 1-2,5 cm rounds goes in atum. the rokambole rounds was from 1-2,3 cm wide, not all grew to 5cm, most was smaler, but i think its a reflexion on the rounds i planted, some grew to bigger rounds, some only produced two big cloves. hope it is of intrest, sorry for bad gramma, and thanks for god videos;)

    Hi. I don't have a greenhouse so can you recommend some varieties suitable for growing outside? Thanks

    • @growmad
      @growmad 8 месяцев назад

      No greenhouse, no problem. During the height of summer, you should be able to produce any tomato variety, however, if you wish to crop into the late summer/early autumn period, you will need to consider blight resistant varieties such as 'Mountain Magic' or 'Crimson Crush'. Blight will become an issue as the weather gets colder and damper...

      maybe garlic chives would work for you,take 2 years before they produce god from seed, easy to divide wen you have a big cluster, in rigth enviroment you can harvest ewery 14 days aprox, in the growing season. popular in asia,not as strong as regular garlic,but a mild god garlic flavor,god raw and most part of the greens, leafs, stalk and flower are used in different cusines. pest resistant and have you planted them on the rigth place, you wil harvest them forever,same as regular chives, but they have a mild onion flavour
