How do you come up with that melody??
A semitone creates tension and a 7th jump will make it emotional. Basically i’ve played around with that The more melodies you make the more you’ll know how different notes sound together.

While adding the arp @ 1:56, did you manually edited the notes? I tried copying the chords as well as the lead into the scifi synth arp track hoping that it would automatically arpeggiate it, but could not get that sound (the octave range was small, the button to increase the octave range was dimmed for all the Alchemy synth Arpeggiated tracks)?. Should I manually edit all the notes like you showed in the video?
yup. Manually draw them. It’s not that much however, once you do the first bar you can copy and paste them and just move some notes
