Ride along as I drive through the Huntington NY area during Winter Storm Grayson 1018. Grayson turned into a blizzard for Suffolk County, with snow totals between 12-18" and wind gust over 50 mph. My Wrangler gobbled up the storm with no problems. The Goodyear Wrangler Duratracs are a key ingredient, taking me through snow over my rails.

As an amateur radio operator (AC2FV), I assisted in the communications at Op Santa 2014. Op Santa is produced by the Metro Port Authority, and is assisted by the TSA, FBI, US Customs and a host of other governmental offices. It was a great experience, and it was heartwarming to see over 3500 special needs kids have a great time with Santa. Looking forward to doing it again in 2015.

Most K3 owners know that you can change the passband filter settings, and then "normalize" or go back to the Elecraft default settings with a push of a button. But did you know you can store into memory 2 additional custom "normalize" settings? You won't find this in the manual. Recorded on my iPhone at the ARRL Centennial Convention, 2014.
