Very simple and slight correction of pronunciation may improve your Japanese greatly. Ex)今日は！correct from Konichiwa(elementary level) to Kon-nichi-wa(advanced level). Your 今日は！is for sure audible as Konichiwa to most Japanese.

Secondly, your very premise is wrong, one of if not the most powerful individual in the books is Galadriel, a women. In addition, of course the adventures are men, for most of human history men have been the ones fighting wars while women stay home. This is not to say that this should be the way things are today, i fully support women in all roles including the military, but Tolkien lives in a very different time. We should not devalue the literary genius of earlier authors simply because they do not have the same views as us because of the time they lived in. Tolkien was (for his time) a progressive who hated the Nazis and racial bigotry.

I'm thinking the reason for all the points you said existing in the LotR is because it was written in the age it was written in and it reflects the attitudes of the time. It's fine. Just don't deconstruct it too much.
