Dude, his style has never been spot on. He is not going to be John Petrucci where everything is spot on perfect. Thats not him. But i know what you mean when you say sloppy.
Bahahahaa he is sloppy lol thats why its every beginners first obsession. I literally learned all of his songs. At one point I knew everyone of his songs from the slashs snakepit days to velvet revolver days. It honestly didnt take that long like 2 years and then I moved on to van halen and learned most of it and then lost interest because it was all starting to sound the same. Now Im onto jason becker

I learned almost everything from guns n roses to Slash's snakepit and even velvet revolver. All I'm saying is he never really to the time to evolve his style because him and duff were getting drunk all the time.
