      Thanks for watching the videos! Really appreciate it. Yeah we found the one at Cowaramup, but no water fill for the van that we could find. Someone else also mentioned there was one at margs, but nothing was listed on WikiCamps which is what we have been using to find all those places. Good to know for next time, definitely keen to get back for another longer visit

      @@RoamingCoastlines South West Western Australia is amazing. Next time you come back there is a dump point and water fill in Margaret River. It’s in Gloucester Park in Wallcliffe Road, not far from the town . It’s near the Rec Centre. And another one at Cowaramup so you did not need to go to Busselton

    • @RoamingCoastlines

      @ yeah epic! Didn’t even think to look on there. Looked on WikiCamps which we have been using for dump and water all over Aus, saw others complaining about the lack of them in margs, so didn’t think we were missing anything. Definitely good for next time, we are super keen to get back

    Great production. Love the camera/drone work, music and the storyline. Eating Marron together for the first time was a thrill. Emmy and Noah had the nose bag on and their silence during dinner indicated they loved the Marron as did the adults. Agree the Margaret River area is not the friendliest place for RV’s. Dunsborough reminded me a bit of Noosa and Byron. The touristy vibe without the beach just metres away from the Main Street. Apart from being a tad picky re a couple of negatives, I loved the beaches, vineyards, caves and the Marron. Sally and I look forward to catching up with you soon. Currently at Betty’s Beach. Luck smiled on us again in relation to getting a site because when we pulled up the CAMP FULL sign was out and as luck had it as I was looking for a spot to turn the van around this couple pulled out. This is a top free $0.00 off grid site. Arguably the clearest water and the cutest beach we’ve seen since Broome. Can’t wait to see what next Sundays video brings. 👏👏

I would be fitting it out for only weekend trips or 1 week adventures. So i am hoping i am able to get a 3 seater in the back with anchor points any recommendations would be sweet man if you have any tips. I do plan on doing my own custom drawer and and fit out in the back with the remaining space i hope its enough for my needs. :) Love the videos by the way ❤️. @@gr33nyplayz60 sounds like a great plan mate! If you look at techsafe (the ones who did my single seats) they do a three seater with anchor points. This will work sweet for what you want. • @gr33nyplayz60
      @gr33nyplayz60 7 дней назад

      @ haha definitely. With the build i plan on doing with doing my own boxes i want to make it all easily removable should i need the space for something else while im not camping or out and about. Seen some people use like ya bolt inserts so you can easily just unscrew a few bolts to pull everything out saving uncrewing screws that are going to strip the timber quickly by taking them in and out.all good in theory but time will come when i get my hands on one if it would go that way. Thanks heaps Matt and Leisa, we're glad you guys love your Gladiator as much as we love our Troopy! So nice having something you just want to keep! The gladiators are a cool rig! I think from memory with the tow hitch you could have it either way, and it lined up better for heights this way. Feels like ages ago was sorting that out. Seems to be working sweet

    With three rough boys i installed a techsafe seat between the two front seats for those times when they need to be seperated. Turns it into a six seater with two full benches. As a bonus it folds down to an armrest when not needed, with two extra cupholders.

    Fellow Troopy owner here. Back in the day we had a 1984 Troopy and it took our 4 kids all over the country. It was our family vehicle my wife used for school dropoff etc, so she became known as the lady with the Troopy. A few Landcruisers later, in 2019, the urge became too great and I traded a perfect 200series in on a brand new GXL Troopy. Haven't looked back. The grandchildren absolutely love it - crawling up into the back, sitting high, working the sliding windows and its very comfortable for them back there. We also tow - both a TrackTrailer Tvan on more remote trips and a 2.5T single axle offroad caravan on other trips. The 200series was a more powerful, and more stable tow vehicle, but the Troopy does it fine but like you, we don't enjoy the crosswinds. I love changing my setup every couple of years because I can. So its changed from being a pure expedition setup to being a towing setup. I try for a lightweight build to keep it capable. So no roof rack, standard tall skinny tyres, storage system is 9mm marine ply and no unnecessary barwork. So its around its 3300kg GVM when loaded on a trip (just 2 adults, no kids). Amazing vehicle and little wonder you go on a waiting list for a year to get a new one.

      Mate that’s some cool history! You can see why so many people who get rid of a troopy end up wanting another down the track. I’m definitely itching to do a near rear fitout, hopefully it happens in the future! We are now 80 and 78 with a 19'6" Jayco Starcraft caravan and an Isuzu MUX. Graduated from our Jayco Freedom poptop. Keep up the good work and safe travelling with your lovely children.
