Just to say that the words to chant were written by Eugene Friesen and Yuri Zaritsky. As I understand, and contrary to what the leader says, the "hey" is in the original chant :) and may be in the Russian folk tune. This can be found in the Findhorn songbook "Heaven and Earth". Thank you for your inspiration ❤ I'm commenting because I feel it it's important to honour the route that the songs and dances we use have taken.

This is beautiful! I just heard the English language part of this chant for the first time on a Zoom gathering of Sacred Fire Festival attendees during the COVID-19 pandemic. Today I heard that a friend's cousin has died of COVID-19, and I am trying to put together a playlist to comfort her, since I can't just go hug her.

Ok so this is a Wiccan chant with meaning behind it, yet again it looks like Christianity can’t resist copying pagans. Enjoy our traditional PAGAN chants. Blessed be :)

You guys do realize that's a wiccan chant right? How come you christians are copycatting from wiccans/pagans? Can't you christians be original and come up with something different on your own? Just saying.

Mr. Hamouris, we have been grossly under-attentive to our page offerings. Thank you for bringing this to our attention and we have included the information in the first part of our "about" description. We have also been careful to attribute your name whenever we dance this with our Christian, Pagan, Wiccan, and "other" friends. A wonderful and powerful sentiment in your words. We are thankful for your talent and inspiration and that this chant connects us all to One and Source. Peace to you.
