Upgrading the alternator on the c10 to handle the draw from the air pumps going from 45 amp the original alt would put out to a 10si that jumps that number up to 160 amp

chrome looks so good in there, cant go wrong when its a upgrade and it looks better than the original

@@AndersonLuhat all my line is 3/8. I ran 1/4 my first setup and it seemed slow and my buddies Toyota has 1/2 and is a little too fast for me

To be fair it was ruined from the factory. Cut and chop all you want its just a truck. Barely but it counts.

@@ccgarage5040 have you ever owned a square dody 2 wheel drive chevy? It's a car designed to look like a truck. It has no other value than being cut up and experimented on. Even if it turns out terrible it would still be better than the day it rolled off the showroom floor.

Question once you go back to reinstall it, do you just do the three bolts on each side on the bottom of the frame which is the top of the crossmember and not reinstall bolts on the sides of the frame to cross member because those will not realign once you pancake it?
@@rmoct I only did the bottom bolts and it's been fine. You could always drill new holes to bolt from the side

Looks pretty good but I’d work on the welding a little more and redo them. The one major one you was pointing out looked cold like it didn’t fully penetrate. Clean truck man!

@@couchninja2997 pancaking move the bottom of the suspension up the amount you remove from the cross member. If I would have known laying frame was my end goal I would have done a Z before putting the cab and motor in
